I think I enjoy Skyrim more as a concept and a dream rather than an actual game at this point in my life. Every six months or so I get that need to play it again and I daydream about it before I finally do. I listen to the music, imagine myself walking along its roaring rivers, relaxed and at peace. Diving into dangerous caves, in need of a hero to clear them. Wide plains, with tall grass swaying in the wind and scattered deers.
But then the reality and the dream of the game clash, and instead of the harmony, interest, feeling of homeliness and immersion in the gameworld I was dreaming about comes this war of attrition within myself. Where the actual conscious acts of playing the game are in direct opposite of my floaty concepts and daylight dreams. I am in Helgen again, swinging a sword or casting a spell. I exit the cave and start to discover places where I've already been, and talk to people I've already talked to. Solve their already solved problems years before. Loot, equip, sell, buy.
So then I give up, tired from this conflict and leave. Only to forget and start hoping again that this time it will be different and I will come home at last.

Today is Ilja's birthday.  He is tremendously missed by all in the gaming community.

I might just be dumb but when trying to download the mod on Xbox I’m being told “this creation cannot be enabled since it depends on on files that aren’t present” and I have no clue how to fix it
