    Wrye Bash - All Games

Because most bug reports are for bugs that have already been fixed in WIP builds. For bugs that haven't, it's easier to troubleshoot when your on the WIP build since it's closer to the latest source code. Also, it doesn't look like you attached your BashBugDump.log.
  4. Sometimes random books/notes, other than The Aetherium Wars, have a script attached (see below) to start DLC1LD_Misc. When read the "Investigate the ruins of Arkngthamz" entry is added to the quest journal. In my latest game this happened when reading the note named "Notice" (0008ACCC). The odd thing is that I read the note towards the start of my game (at level 10 or so) and it didn't trigger the quest, then read it again later (at level 47) and it did trigger the quest. SV console output for attached script: DefaultOnReadSetQuestStageNotAlias: Script state = "" ::myQuest_var = DLC1LD (02005817) ::myStage_var = 10 The reason for bringing this up here is that I seem to remember it being reported in the past, but I haven't been able to locate the bug ticket in the tracker and have also tried searching for a report here on the forums. I can add this information to the tracker, but maybe someone remembers whether there was a discussion somewhere about the issue or if there still is an open ticket. The search function is kind of difficult and frustrating to use now that there's a timeout period, especially if you don't know what keyword(s) to use in the search.

Alright, I found it. Why is the answer to every question "Use the WIP version"?

@tigerseptim In the Mopy folder. If you installed WB via the installer, then that folder is in your game folder. If you installed it via the standalone download, then wherever you extracted that download is where that folder sits.

    How to?

I highly suggest you play the game at least once without mods so you can get a better idea of what type of mods you might want to use. Otherwise, more information about modding can be found in the STEP guide.

Just reposting this for SMR while his internet is getting sorted... "A reminder, the latest update goes iive today - I presume Vlad will post the notice in Helpful links when it does if I am still off line, but if he cannot, I would appreciate if some one else would. Thanks!" As an aside, it's already live, and available for download. Have a great day

You can do that but you'll need to activate the mod as well. It's usually best to install mods with a mod manager of some sort.

    How to?

Hey everyone, Newbie here. IDK if I'm completely missing it, but I can't find a "how to" on installing mods. FWIW I'm playing Skyrim (Special Edition) on Steam (Admin, if I'm in the wrong place, I apologize!)

@tigerseptim Please try the latest WIP build if you haven't already (second post in this thread) and upload your BashBugDump.log if you can still reproduce it on that build.
  16. I am not part of the UOP team, nor am I a representative of AFKMods. I am just another dumb mod maker/user who happens to be sitting here going through the new posts to see if there is anything interesting going on. Your post caught my attention. My response follows:

I've downloaded the file for this. Do I extract all the file contents into Skyrim/Data?
  18. Given it has been nearly seven years since the supplemental recommendations list was posted here, and given the big update to include a few of the CC in AE, and all the related changes to SKSE64 and such, might I request that the suggestions made since the posting be given a quick look-over to see if they are stable, mature, and up to date, and that things on the original list similarly be checked to see if they are still up to date, and the list in the first post be updated accordingly? I think many people would greatly appreciate a fresh version of your useful list.

I'm getting an error while installing the unofficial patch for SSE. When I look in the folder, there are two archives for the mod; dunno why it would complain about not finding anything. balt.py 1215 OpenSelected: Failed to open C:\GOG Galaxy\Games\Skyrim Special Edition Mods\Bash Installers\Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch-266-4-2-9a-1685216241.7z Traceback (most recent call last): File "bash\balt.py", line 1213, in OpenSelected File "bash\bolt.py", line 1207, in start OSError: [WinError -2147221003] Application not found: 'C:\\GOG Galaxy\\Games\\Skyrim Special Edition Mods\\Bash Installers\\Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch-266-4-2-9a-1685216241.7z'

This will be an album of success as I map out various infrastructure I get taken by when things work out very well. Currently I'm trying to cram as much villages and infrastructure into a load order as I can, so it really changes the tamriel world space a lot. There may be mistakes in the background, but the focus of the picture may be what I'm trying to capture. At this point mostly seeing if I can get various town, villages, farms, UL, Hesu, and quests all jiving. Will add more details later.

    UFO4P breaks Nuka-World

Look. You may not realize it, but the issue you're talking about is vanilla. We fixed it in 2019. There's nothing more to be said here. If you want to keep blaming us for that, we can't stop you. Just know that you're doing so from a badly misinformed position. If Bethesda wants to fix this, that's great, but until they do, you'll just have to live with it being an issue in your game. And make no mistake, regardless of what you're going to insist is reality after this, it is THEIR MISTAKE, not ours. Just like matswaps were THEIR mistake, not ours, despite how many people apparently want to blame us for that too. All you are doing is making it clear that Scythe is ultimately right and that Playstation support in any fashion is no longer worth the extra work we're putting in right now to keep it going. All we end up with is people blaming us for things the platform itself causes. This topic is done. I'm locking it now.

    Etienne in the Wasteland

It is not just Skyrim that Etienne finds himself in, but in other planes of the multiverse as well. So here are some pics of Etienne in the FO4 plane - The Wasteland. And like in Skyrim, Etienne can be found travelling with a companion, most often in the Wasteland with Passion. Hope you enjoy these further adventures of Etienne!

    UFO4P breaks Nuka-World

It's a bit elitist imo to blame the PS5 users for the thing you broke still being broken. With that stance you're saying its their fault because the fix to potentially your own issue doesn't work for them. This works without the mod being installed. I have zero visibility into what originally caused it or what fixed it. All I know is what I experienced and I wanted to relay. I agree that mod support is dogswill on PS4/PS5. I have PC, but I'm playing on PS5 just from convenience. PS5 doesn't allow for audio and new scripts, correct? So was the fix readding audio/scripts that had been removed with a previous iteration? That would make sense. I'd play on Xbox but they'd have to actually get some games on there first. I'd rather play this from the comfort of my couch so, PS5. How does Xbox buy every AAA studio in existence but be lacking in exclusives? They got screwed with Redfall, I ain't stepping into that platform. The mod support for Bethesda games didn't sell me on the Xbox. PC, I get it, but just from a convenience factor I decided to play a new save on console. I agree with dropping PS4/5 support as it causes problems that can't or won't be addressed apparently. I honestly didn't think this was gonna be drama. I was trying to bring awareness so someone else doesn't get screwed. I didn't say anyone was horrible but you came at me like I was Satan for pointing out a flaw so, do with that as you will. I was discounted, blamed for causing it (as user error), and then blamed for having a ps5. Logically, from this perspective, I guess I should've known this wasn't going to work before installing. But then I'd ask why's its even up there. However, I don't think that's a fair stance to have, things should be more constructive. Edit: There was a patch today that apparently addresses mod conflicts with dlc. I'll try it later and if it resolved it, I'll update this comment. If not, have a great one.

    [Fallout 4] Official Patch 1.10.984

Fallout 4 Update 1.10.984 Patch Highlights Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 Display Settings Thanks to your feedback, we’ve been able to implement the ability to control your graphic fidelity and performance. We highly recommend you run with the default settings but now you can change your options to better fit your playstyle and display. Frame Rate Target Frame Rate Target allows you to choose between 30, 40, and 60 (default). It is important to note that to select 40, your display must be able to support 120hz. Visual and Performance Prioritization You can now choose between Visuals and Performance (default) while trying to maintain frame rate target. If you choose Frame Rate Target of 60, we recommend selecting Performance. Both modes may adjust internal resolution dynamically when scenes or action get heavier. Please note both modes can only be changed from the main menu. Bug Fixes General stability improvements Fixed visual issue with certain imagespaces Auto HDR is re-enabled (Xbox Series S|X) Fixed issue where reserved space was not displayed correctly in load order menu (Xbox Series S|X) Fixed issue with character name field when in widescreen mode. (PC) Fixed an issue that occasionally caused bundles to not fully download and could cause a crash Fixed an issue with material swaps Fixed an issue with load order that would break DLC until a restart after downloading mods (PlayStation 5) Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause a crash if you returned to the Main Menu with queued mods still downloading (PlayStation 5) Fixed an issue that could cause the Creation Club menu to not appear (Microsoft Store) Fixed a crash that could occur when connecting to the network after a suspend/resume with the network disabled (Xbox One) Creations Fixes Fixed missing art issue with certain Creations

    UFO4P breaks Nuka-World

Certainly tempting, but the problem isn't necessarily Sony since the bug being reported has been fixed already 5 years ago. Yes, there was a delay in being able to get updates to Playstation for awhile but that was Bethesda's website causing issues with that. As far as looking into it, we have. Numerous times. The fix we implemented is still in place. Nothing changed there. "Well you need to fix it" isn't going to change that, cause we'd fix it by doing exactly what was already done. There is no other way.

    UFO4P breaks Nuka-World

Has anyone else noticed that the common denominator in all of these UOP breaks Nuka World threads is a Playstation? Maybe the UOP isn't the problem? Maybe the root cause of the problem is Sony and their ridiculous restrictions? Why aren't Sony's users invading Sony's website, harassing Sony and Kenichiro Yoshida with their incessant complaining using a thread titled Sony breaks UOP? Maybe the problem is that Playstation users are incapable of admitting to themselves that they may have chosen the wrong platform? "I think it's at least worth looking into..." Arthmoor, I would not blame you or the UOP team if you took the decision to drop support for Playstation entirely. Some mod makers; myself included, have already dropped support for Sony and Playstation. Now our only dealings with the Playstation user community is blocking them when they come into our sites to complain about how we are horrible people for not wanting to deal with Sony and Sony's user community.

    UFO4P breaks Nuka-World

I said it was a fresh save. It was the PS4 version of the patch that was available a week or so prior to the PS5 upgrade coming out, fresh save. That save then transfered to ps5. Nothing was old. I downloaded and updated all the mods I wanted before starting the new file. If my case is niche, alright, I'll just not be a good guy during nuka world. There was a brief time period where the unofficial patch was removed because it didn't work for the PS5 version yet (like 2-3 days). Idk if that was it but I'd imagine not
