Octopuss Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'm not sure where to put this, and I don't understand the "problem" described on the page, but anyway, is this something I should be using, with or without the unofficial patches?
VaultDuke Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 it's definitely something to keep an eye on. whether it's fit to be included in USKP or not remains to be seen, but at least the author has given his permission to do so.
tyrel68 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Correction simple test of walking into breezehome causes CTD now :S will doublecheck without this mod. FollowupNo CTD without mod so as it stands not recommended Trying with a 100% fresh game Also a CTD,,,so no go on recommending this mod ---------------------------- WOW if not good for inclusion highly suggest for suggest mods not suitable for inclusion then unless im mistaken and this is anouther red herring XD Only this happy because i know how bad deleted navmeshes are for stability
Arthmoor Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 As I just mentioned in another thread on this, it's dangerous. You cannot fix a deleted navmesh by overriding it. All that will do is cause a CTD. It's why we do not attempt to do so and why the USKP abandoned attempts to fix the ones in Breezehome after it was discovered that Hearthfires.esm deletes one there. Stay away. Far away. It is not something we'd even remotely consider merging into the project.
Leonardo Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I found this mod today and what the mod does, I assume such a mod is likely to override USKP fixes. Not recommended to use with the unofficial patches. Correct?
Arthmoor Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Yep, since it's being presented as a debugging type mod and not an actual mod to the process it would be automatically obsolete since we fixed all of this nearly 2 years ago.
danielleonyett Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I'd just like to state that in the very first post with the huge list, I cannot find Ancient Nord Armor 1st Person Fix. From the rest of the posts, it sounds like that mod is made obsolete by the unofficial patches, but I'm just saying that it appears that it has not been included in this list. thanks for all of your work!
VaultDuke Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 worthy of incorporation? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66100/?(dragon aspect frost fix) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65550/?(Ebony Warrior bugfix)
BlackPete Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 worthy of incorporation? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66100/?(dragon aspect frost fix) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65550/?(Ebony Warrior bugfix) That first one has a tracker ticket: http://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/tracdown/issue/19183-dragon-aspect-shout-not-providing-resist-frost/ Someone mentioned the "issue" on Nexus. I don't know enough about how that shouts works to determine whether it's an actual bug or not though.
VaultDuke Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 there was some confusion about the elemental fury shout on the nexus forum recently, and investigating whether it does work with enchanted weapons when USKP is installed or not left me a fair bit confused. i couldn't find it on the bug tracker and the patch log, but these two fix mods http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30080/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14898/? are listed here as being made obsolete by the USKP either the patchlog or this thread could be updated i think.

The thread is accurate. Elemental Fury was fixed in the USKP and nothing has changed about that. Anyone claiming otherwise likely isn't examining things closely enough. ==== The list of obsolete mods has been updated.
alt3rn1ty Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I'm not sure about the following one, but pretty sure there are at least some of them covered by Unofficial patches NARC - No Animals Report Crimes http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68125/? All factions which report crimes changed, quite a lot of them on the list in the description
Arthmoor Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 Yes, the author of NARC offered it to us, we discussed it, and decided only the farm animal and player horse factions were actual bugs. We had already fixed chickens before. Dogs we left alone because IMO that seems logical for dogs to trigger crime warnings. The rest of the long list of factions he's got there are almost certainly incapable of reporting crimes. Certainly no reliable reports I've seen can be traced back to those.
daventry Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Navmesh Fix - Breezehome http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70624 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70629 Navmesh Fix - Belethor's General Goods
InsanePlumber Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Navmesh Fix - Breezehome http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70624 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70629 Navmesh Fix - Belethor's General Goods Both plug-ins include deleted Navmesh which is not a good solution. Navmesh Compendium
Arthmoor Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 No navmesh fix mod for Breezehome will work with Hearthfire installed due to the DLC itself deleting the navmesh there. Anyone who claims otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. There is nothing wrong with the navmesh in Belethor's shop. The fault doesn't lie inside, but outside, which we fixed.
alt3rn1ty Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I dont think the Mod author is listening, just deleted a pile of comments where people were discussing the bad practice of navmesh deletion. Ah well, another mod author to add to the list of mods to check are in peoples load orders when they blame the UPPs for problems
Arthmoor Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Well that's unfortunate because it means he's not willing to learn either. Deleted navmeshes are well documented to crash the game when something else edits them, and he cannot fix Breezehome with a "compatible" version. Plus, as I said, there's nothing wrong with the interior navmesh in Belethor's shop. Even if there was, it's not necessary to delete the vanilla one to change things around. Just nip a few triangles if it bothers you that much and then refinalize the cell. Done. No CTDs. He's already posted why the USKP's external navmesh fix didn't work, so it falls to the author of the mod that broke it for him to make sure HIS navmeshes actually work.
alt3rn1ty Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Scratched my last post, author is willing to change things, the post deletion was a case of deleted one and didnt realise the rest would also be deleted - New to managing mods as an author mistake.
daventry Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Is this true, or could go into the Cutting Room Floor Mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69906/? There are many hints attached to the Ebony Warrior that suggest Bethesda originally intended for him to be Reymon Ebonarm, the Redguard God of War. Whether they had a change of mind, or simply ran out of time, this mod restores this forgotten God to his former glory! Is this a Bug http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68794/
diego18 Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 hello whats about Dawnguard Lava Imagespace Fix ? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21787/?
Rokatsu Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I just installed possessive corpses today too damn. So USLEEP deletes the corpses and savegame bloatware? If so I'll remove it. Thanks for compiling this huge list by the way. It's hard to find good working mods when you've only started playing in 2016 so I'm glad to see the community still working hard on it.
