[RELz] Bee Hives

Recommended Posts

Ever wonder where Honningbrew Meadery gets their honey? Bet you never quite gave it much thought, figuring it had to come from somewhere. The only problem is that the sole source of honey is at Golden Glow Estate and you know Maven isn't likely to give that up. This little mod takes care of the issue by making some room in front of the Honningbrew Boilery for 5 bee hives. That's it. Simple.

Due to the nature of Skyrim mods, especially those adding scripts, it is strongly discouraged to attempt uninstalling a mod from your active game. Any mod that is more than pure mesh or texture replacements has the possibility to leave behind permanent changes to your save that you may not want. This is not something modders can correct for. It is how the game was designed by Bethesda. No support will be provided for anyone who uninstalls this mod from an active game and continues on with that save.

To remove the mod: Delete the .esp from your Data folder. Then reload your game as usual.

Load Order

LOOT (https://loot.github.io/) should be used for optimal placement.

Mods which alter the immediate area in front of the Honningbrew Boilery will not be compatible.

No navmeshes or landscaping were edited with this mod so it should be fully compatible with other mods editing the nearby area.

No compatibility issues with Provincial Courier Service.

Known Issues

The sign closest to the fence in front of the boilery may not be positioned correctly if you've passed by before. This should correct itself after the cells reset.

This mod is not made, guaranteed, or supported by Microsoft, Zenimax, Bethesda Game Studios, or any of their affiliates.

This is one of those small mods that are a must and after you install and see them you are like "Holy shit why was this just now made and why didn't Bethesda think of this?" The owner even says it's made with honey and the sign has a giant beehive on it! Total DUH moment. Thank you Arthmoor for this little gems. Also, this just became an awesome place to catch bees!!!!

Just to put icing on this delicious cake.

Would it also be possible to add a few pots of the extremely rare honey pot food item to the location as well?

Version 2.0.2

Moved a mountain flower that was clipping with the stone walls.

@ejnomad07No, I'm not going to add honey pots there. The bee hives are enough.

Version 2.0.5

The .esp file has been changed to lowercase. This is to help facilitate universal filename compatibility for Steam Deck and regular linux users whose file systems are case sensitive. Many of them make use of the in-game menu to download mods and Bethesda.net ALWAYS downloads in lowercase. For the benefit of people using linux or the Steam Deck, it would be greatly appreciated if any mods which currently use this mod as a file dependency change the case of that dependency in their master lists.
