That's a good question. This is obviously the right thread but somehow the topic ID and title got changed. And if I had known Epic was gonna give KCD away for free I'd have held off on buying it

Kingdom Come Deliverance Royal Edition (includes all DLCs) is now at version 1.9.5 (I think this is the final version of the whole game and DLCs). I am currently re-downloading all Offline Manual Install files from GOG .. patiently taps fingers :)

And its now on sale on GOG https://www.gog.com/game/kingdom_come_deliverance_royal_edition

(Not quite as good as free on Epic, but its worth it whatever you pay).

Best game I have ever played (including No Man's Sky / X series / Bethesda games). Now that its final and all DLCs are polished .. Time for a restart and play the game to death.

It's quite unexpected from Sony, but at this moment (and here in europe) Journey™ and Uncharted™: The Nathan Drake Collection are offered to PS4 players. Check here.

Not so unexpected considering the backlash Sony faces in the current events of the Naughty Dog debacle. Probably they are doing it to soften some spirits, not that anything they would do will change the perception people have for Sony/Naughty Dog direction heads into.

But aside from that, me being console-naive since I never owned any console ever, doesnt playstation require monthly payment to have playstation plus to receive such sales and gifts?

Not the usual "cheap" game that shows up in here, but Elex is on sale for a damn good price right now: https://www.gog.com/game/elex A very well done sci-fi RPG, which is a rare thing.

Another one on sale for a very good price: https://www.gog.com/game/the_technomancer I haven't gotten very far into this one but it's also pretty good so far.

I'll take those endorsements, Arthmoor, though I can't say I'll buy them.  I've so many games I haven't played yet... I hope I'm not the only schmo that buys games yet doesn't play them right away.  To give you an idea of where I am (not that anyone cares), I'm enjoying ca. 2008's "Tomb Raider: Underworld".  It was "Tomb Raider: Legend" before that.  Fun games, but they will wear on me soon, I fear.

Windbound - For any of you with adventurous daughters into crafting / survival games

https://www.gog.com/game/windbound

Cheap and from a good team, releases on 28th August.

Reminds me of Zelda Windwaker and Breath of the wild with its style, but the gameplay is different.

Islands in the game are procedurally generated, and get bigger as the chapters progress.

Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny are free on the epic game store the next few days. Both of them are C-RPG, Baldur's Gate style. They are somewhat moddable.

Crusader Kings II is free on steam and have been for some time. To promote CK III which has been recently released. It's a "grand strategy game". Interesting mix of strategy and RPG. Very moddable.

X3 Terran War Pack is cheap as chips (fries) on GOG right now

https://www.gog.com/game/x3_terran_war_pack

And they just recently added the DevNet Community developed project Farnhams Legacy (they have been adding / refining this over the last five years). Second bugfix patch was included either today or yesterday, which concludes the development of this free update to the game.

The normal Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude are as bug free / polished as they are ever going to get by now.
