Can we discuss the utter bastardization of Elder Scrolls lore from Oblivion-on?

Is it just me, or is Bethesda in a race with itself to blandardize their own flagship IP to the point where it no longer has a unique identity?

I'm not really seeing how it supposedly lost its unique identity. Nobody else has ever done a series that comes close to TES in terms of world design and replayability. Not to mention the extensive modding support. So yeah, we definitely need more to go on here.
