Disappointed with how ruthless and unforgiving the Blades were at the end of the main quest? Felt like you should have been able to put your foot down and make them see reason? Well now you can!

This mod is a simple, yet badly needed modification to the post-MQ quest the Blades give you to kill Paarthurnax.

Approach the quest as usual. Listen to the Greybeards and Paarthurnax.

Should you decide to spare his life, return to Delphine or Esbern and explain it to them. You may have to be a bit forceful in the process. They may not like what you're telling them, but they're supposed to be there to serve the Dragonborn, right?

Should you choose to go through with slaying him, he will not be alone. Paarthurnax told you he was going to try and teach others the Way of the Voice, and he'll have his first group of students listening intently. Or, well, whatever dragons do when they're perched on rocks looking at each other.

Are you a ruthless savage like your Blade companions, or will you show compassion and forgiveness the Blades don't appear to be capable of anymore? Make your choice, Dragonborn!

Requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch to be installed first!

What's New in Version 2.0.4

Released

The .esp and .bsa files have been changed to lowercase filenames. This is to help facilitate universal filename compatibility for Steam Deck and regular linux users whose file systems are case sensitive. Many of them make use of the in-game menu to download mods and Bethesda.net ALWAYS downloads in lowercase. For the benefit of people using linux or the Steam Deck, it would be greatly appreciated if any mods which currently use PCS as a file dependency change the case of that dependency in their master lists. (Bug #34096)

When I try to install this using Vortex, the game does not start. Upon disabling it, the game runs just fine.

For those using Vortex, is fine dragging and dropping the zip file into vortex?

When I try to install these files with drag and drop in vortex it also says its the SSE version of the mod and requies USSEP. It is not registering for the LE version. Quite a few of his mods specifically are doing this. LAL to name one.

This is the SkyrimSE version of the mod. You want this version:

There is an error in the current version around an alias on the quest.

So that june 9th 2012, that's the one for skyrim le ? 

I downloaded it , and installed it with mo2, it installed ok, but I have a mod that can see into other mods esp , and its not seeing this parth mod for le o.O -  I'm on skyrim le currently ..

The pluggin is showing in mo2, so I guess its installed ok, o.O

But when I look thru tab in mo2 the name in the data folder is in red, thinking its might be installed ok fully ?

Tried to take a screenshot, not sure if anyone can see it ...

Red denotes those mods / plugins that cause conflicts, or their individual files overwrite each other. Click on the mod (double click) and look in the Conflicts tab for what the cause is, which files are affected. In my example, it should be clear that one file from the interface mod (SkyHUD) overwrites (replaces) another file from another interface mod (Dear Diary Dark Mode). And yes, both mods work as they should.

P.S. I don't use the LE version, but the SE-AE version of The Paarthurnax Dilemma doesn't cause me any problems.

I'm not using dear diary tho,  have used it in the past, just not now, ...

And the file I'm using for Le skyrim , is the one that was linked, tho still not sure why it shows as red like, how ever , I did find the version I was using before , thinking I didn't have it anymore ...

after removing the previous one and installing the old one I had,  everything is in the black , the version I got, is dated 13/20 /2021...

Hello, can you share link to download previous version of this mod? The latest version does not work with GOG version.
