Organical Mechanical
See pictures-- I'm using a PSD for the Blender texture and a DDS for the NifSkope file, but the images are nearly identical. How can I correct the positioning? I'm also including the DDS and NIF files in case those would help you guys help me solve this. Hana
How much to you know about UV mapping? Your UV doesn't match your texture file, not even close. Not sure how you managed to line it up in Blender. If this is the final texture file you want to use you'll need to manipulate your uv's to line up on it. I didn't even know you could unwrap thing in NifSkope Thank you so much!
Hana
No, you cannot unwrap in Nifskope. It's only a UV viewer. However, you can do minor edits like move verts around, scale, etc. There should be no difference between Blender's UV mapping and what you see in Nifskope. So I don't know where the disconnect happened.
Sigurð Stormhand
It's possible the UV Mapping mode is incorrect in Blennder. Which version are you using?
Sigurð Stormhand
Also, it would be good to have your .blend file and original PSD.
ghastley
The meshes look different. Did you import a mesh into blender, change it, regenerate the UV map, and then apply the new texture to the original mesh, not the modified one?
