mlee3141
Posting ths here instead of Reddit SkyrimMods since all of my posts there seem to be hidden by default. A little off-topic, I know, and normally, I hate advertising other people's mods, but this one is so handy I felt like a PSA is in order. Basically, it restructures Skyrim's memory usage from the "block" framework, to the default "Windows" framework, which makes the game much more stable. Plus, it makes the SKSE memory patch obsolete, so you can safely delete the ini tweak/ SSME.Personally, I've tested it to the extreme, and Skyrim refuses to crash even after a marathon around Skyrim (starts and ends at Riften), Summerset Isle (starts and ends at the Mage's Guild), Wyrmstooth (starts and ends at Wyrmstooth Crypt), and High Rock (more of a straight line this time; from The Divide to Azura's Crossing); all at once! I would have continued, but I was really tired at that point, and thought further testing was pointless; I was convinced at the mod's efficiency. So, here's the links to the mod below, as well as a prerequisite mod for the same, and a video tutorial for those who might have trouble installing it/ visual learners. Thanks! mlee3141
Why do my topic typos always remain here, yet not in any other thread/ website? Could have sworn I fixed it before posting... Would someone mind fixing it for me; the title should be "Crash Fixes". Thanks!
