Need help with a merchant setting.

Is it possible, to set selected item(s) on a merchant to only sell a particular item one time only? The merchant is belethor. Ive been through his container with the mod loaded. I am looking to make items a mod adds to his inventory, to be well, unique and not refresh when his inventory does its normal thing. I know you can set a container to Not respawn and set a specific number of items(easy enough), I ve done this with several mods already to prevent them from flooding the world with same item, but those were static chests, and not living merchants. 

 

You dont seem able to set respawn flag on individual items, only a chest itself.  

 

Tell me if this is right way to do this

 

Create  a new chest linked to Belethor-only containing the objects I want to sell one time. Set to Not respawn-Done.

 

That sound correct? Can a merchant read from multiple chests in this way?
