Had to reinstall my game, and found the city wall over imposed inside the lotd gates, blocking them. Tested mods, and it came back to the ussep. Dont know why or how its suddenly there when it wasent before, but i now cant reinstall many of my mods if i iwant to play lotd. :( on xbox.

No idea what sort of "lotd gate" you're referring to and since you've provided nothing that either ties this to the USSEP or what LOTD is doing we've got nothing at all to go on.

You mean the Legacy of the Dragonborn museum gates inside Solitude?  There is nothing that USSEP touches that would cause that (in fact, there is little or nothing that USSEP does that causes any issues - even with other mods).  A screenshot of the issues would be helpful.  Also, when you tested, did you start with a totally new game and no mods installed and then add mods in, or did you a) test on an existing save (which, since data is baked into saves, will be totally useless), or B} test by removing mods as opposed to adding them (as removing and working backwards is a less than ideal way to test as opposed to adding mods to a clean build.  The best way to troubleshoot a load order, is to follow this general outline:

Troubleshooting Your Load Order

Also, you may need to do a clean reinstall first, as mods sometimes leave traces in other folders which may continue to affect the game - even if the mod is uninstalled, and despite the fact of just doing a simple reinstall of the game. So just validating the files or uninstalling and reinstalling the game is not enough - files can get left over and they will continue to effect your game.  Follow this guide EXACTLY and do everything it says to the letter:

Good luck!

I did a clean install, and added this patch and the legacy mod, and got the wall. I then tried installing all the mods i wanted, and tried to add this one again, but nothing. Only when i removed this mod did the wall go. I know, this shouldn't affect the measueam at all, making this more confusing for me. And, yes, ive played about with taking mods on and off too. Untill i got fed up, and just deleted evreything, and added just to 2 mods. Just get this.

Ive also used the debug menu, to get inside. The museum is there, you can start the quest, but the city walls wont let you pass. Its the oddest thing. I ended up doing a full uninstall, and reinstall three times.

Don't know why I spent the time to do it, but I combed the LOTD comments for the last week. Perhaps you should follow the advice the LOTD guys gave you when you asked them this last week?

What do you mean? Ive only posted this here and on skyrim lovers on fb. Im confused.

The advice Arthmoor refers to was:  "Make sure you load USSEP before Legacy."

Ill try thanks x. Sorry, im not very good at technical things, and i end up getting a bit lost.

Just FYI for anyone coming to this later on. The reason for this issue is that USSEP fixes a gap with the large platform reference this wall is a part of by moving it slightly to the southeast. This should have no discernible impact on any other mods as they would be loading later anyway, Legacy included. Ultimately the issue is that for some reason, sometimes MO2 sets Legacy to load before USSEP - which should not be happening. I would assume that for Legacy's purposes they've deleted the reference that USSEP fixed which brought it back from the void when the load order was wrong.

Okay but did we know of a fix? Because this issue is happening to me and ussep is a keystone mod, so i can't exactly not have it

Yes. The fix is you load LOTD after USSEP. If that isn't working, you get in touch with the MO2 devs to find out why it's changing the load order when it shouldn't be. This is not something we can address.

This is a great learning resource.

It sounds frustrating! Maybe try reinstalling just the legacy mod first? Thanks for the reply right away!

If you are using LOOT, the following may be worth a try. In LOOT's left pane double-click LOTD. In the right pane right-click LOTD and select Edit Metadata. In the bottom-right pane select the Load After tab. Drag USSEP from the left pane to the blank area in the Load After tab. Save the metadata and at the top menu select Sort Plugins (at least if you don't have a massive load order with several hundreds of mods).
