  1. Hello AFK forums, Would anyone please be willing to port over AndrealphusVIII's Dawnguard - Hall of Vigilant Requirement Mod to xbox? I would really like a mod to delay this DLC starting and we don't have any options. Give it to the PS4 players too. They would probably appreciate it. Author gives full permission to port it over. Image attached just in case. Thank you!!
  2. Just a place to put requests for mods we would like to see.
  3. Hey guys, completely fresh moder here, I don't know shit from chocolate but I managed so far in Skyrim, but for some reason FO4 is a different story for me. For some reason I have trouble with mod compatibility and unlike in Skyrim, this simply isn't clear enough for me. I don't know if you do this kind of stuff here, but I'm gonna leave the list of mods I'm trying to run and maybe if you notice something I'm doing wrong you can let me know. Game is v1.1.29.0 i think, no DLC's The list: Everyone's Best Friend (Dogmeat and Companion At Same Time - No Console - No Hack)
  4. A lot of old fix mods are still floating around out there. Many of which have been absorbed into the unofficial patch over time. Having these older fix mods can cause problems with the game if they are left in place. Especially those that installed loose scripts. Below is the known list of mods we've been able to compile to date which are now obsolete and should be uninstalled from your game. Do not simply delete the ESPs, you must uninstall them through your mod manager to be sure ALL of the files that go with them are deleted as well. If anyone knows of more fix mods that we have
  5. Hi All, I’m a long-time TES fan (but only a lurker here), and currently a PhD student at Bond University in Australia. I’m really amazed by how much TES fans do around the series, in terms of modding, compiling data in wikis, producing fan films and more. More broadly, my research is actually about what cultural heritage organisations can learn from commercial RPGs in order to produce great culture-oriented RPGs themselves. A part of that argument is looking at Skyrim and showing just how much world-building detail is involved in its world, but then I’m also arguing that it’s crucial to c
  6. Welcome to my little re-texture project. Hmm, maybe not so little. HEART is going to be a catch-all for anything I feel needs a facelift. I have lots of ideas ready to go, some small, some large, so I'll be busy for awhile. Feel free to make suggestions but I won't guarantee I'll get to it. Thanks to a generous friend and the support of many people here I'll be honing my skills and sharing the results for all to use - exclusively here at AFK Mods! I hope you like them. Stay tuned to this thread for updates as each minor project is released! Index: * Hagraven Feathers, coloured or bl

Project: Blank Road and City Signs Resource Author: Hanaisse Version: 1.0 Release Date: 3/15/2013 Category: Resources ================== Description: ================== You've worked hard on your new village. Your NPC's are proud of their little corner of Skyrim. But why aren't people visiting? Perhaps they don't know how to get there? Direct traffic to your new village with a new roadsign! Simply paint your village name on the board and nail it up on any existing signpost. Or add your own signpost along any road. No longer will people wander aimlessly looking for your pub. This reso
  8. Hello, I am a PC user of Skyrim that has been using mods for quite some time. This however does not concern me directly. I have a friend who recently purchased the Special Edition on Xbox One to play with mods. The issue is with the Dark Brotherhood quest "Mourning Never Comes" wherein it tells hi mto talk to Muiri (for the second time) after she tells him to kill some people. It says she is in Markarth but the quest marker puts her far into the ocean past the mountains to the north on the map. He has walked around in Markarth for hours looking for her but it seems like the game genuinely dr
  9. In case you're living under a rock: https://bethesda.net/#en/events/game/mods-and-4k-coming-to-ps4-for-skyrim-and-fallout4/2016/10/04/221 PS4 mods are back. Before you get your hopes up though, one important statement in there needs to be highlighted: What does this mean? It means PS4 mods that are not fully functional with just a single ESP file are out. "External assets" for Skyrim and Fallout 4 are stored in a separate archive file. This means no custom meshes, textures, music, audio, voiced dialogue, or scripts. It's the scripts that are going to place the biggest restriction

  11. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/04/help-save-17-years-of-pc-game-modding-history/ I know most of us probably don't use the site, but I figured this was worth a mention for another reason. Mirroring your mods. Folks, THIS kind of thing is why you should be uploading mods to more than one site. When you put everything on a single site, like Nexus, you become subject to the possibility that one day they will be the ones making an announcement like this. Servers aren't cheap. Life isn't always fair. Shit happens and people often find they can't continue what they love doing. So spread yours
