Unrelenting Force shout triggers trap and tripwire from far but not from close distance

I'm not sure if it's a bug.

My character knows only the first word of the Unrelenting Force shout. I am currently in Shroud Hearth Barrow and I noticed that this shout triggers the trap (and even the tripwire far away, which releases rocks), but only if I'm at a great distance. For example, if I am at the end of the bridge, or in its middle, the shout triggers the trap and the tripwire. But if I am close to the trap, there is no effect.

 

That doesn't make sense, in my opinion. The effect of the shout should be stronger at close distance, and it seems the opposite occurs.  

 

 

EDIT : Well, I reloaded my save and now the shout triggers the trap even at close distance, so I suppose it was just an engine glitch. Sorry for the false report.
