Sanguine Rose and Atronach Stone

So this is on the patch notes:

The Absorb Spells effect of the Atronach sign, Atronach perk (Alteration tree) and Breton Dragonskin ability will no longer cause the player's own conjuration spells to fail

And it works great! Problem is, the Atronach sign still appears to be absorbing the spell as cast from the Sanguine Rose. Awesome for when I want a quick burst of mana, not so awesome for when I want a helpful dremora buddy. I don't know if other conjuration staves are also having this issue, I'll test it out if I find any others.
