And so ends my playthrough at just over 645 hours, though, for all intents and purposes, it began all the way back in late '16, because though I was forced - due to circumstances having nothing to do with the game - to restart several times, it has all been the same story throughout that entire time.

And even though it ended with Etienne's marriage to Chaconne,  the marriage itself actually doesn't alter anything between Etienne, Jenassa, and Chaconne, for those three  are and will always be as one, and that is something that not even the nine (or whatever gods or fates there may be in the multiverse - or even blind chance itself) can ever change.

But, it was a fitting finish - and a fine new beginning for the next one, whenever that may be! For now, Etienne is relaxing with Jenassa and Chaconne, taking a well deserved rest. A rest, that is, until the next leap takes him to another plane of the multiverse and some new place - a place where adventure awaits!
