alt3rn1ty 325 Posted June 6, 2014 For anyone curious about the details Created in G.I.M.P as a GIF anim I used PrtSc to screen grab 59 frames, if you do that quickly you get a feel for when the game is actually ready to take another screenshot if you also watch the hard drive read/write LED. So you end up with frames of anim that are all equally spaced in the turn rate. 59 frames was enough for exactly two rotations of the Eye of Magnus ( -1 frame which would be the same as the 1st and 30th, so the loop would have jumped if I included frame 60 ) Which coincidentally also nicely encompasses the colour fade out and fade in. Each grab was full screen, then I used Irfanview for its ability to batch crop a bunch of images in a folder, with dimensions which encompassed the Eye as it moves up and down. Then used G.I.M.P to make the anim. I forget the frame speed details, took a little bit of juggling to get a decent smooth anim Link to comment
