  3. Improved Lowerclass Architecture

    Improved Lowerclass Architecture

    Description
Provides several mesh fixes for the vanilla lowerclass architecture.

    Details
This is yet another page finally being migrated over from the Nexus.  It's a revamp of
a small project I released back in 2015. At the time I was making my first concerted
effort to learn modeling. With a little knowledge under my belt it seemed like a great
idea to attempt fixing all the mesh errors in the lower homes. Looking back, I should
have waited to learn a bit more. Results were ok, but could have been much better.
So here I present version 2.0. A package containing fixes (much better fixes) for all
issues I know of with the lowerclass homes, the tavern, and the Bruma thatch roof
variants of the homes. Including many issues I didn't spot the first time around.
It should be noted these are strictly vanilla bug fixes. No architecture changes other
than what was necessary to plug holes.

  4. Washington's Nordic Chapel

    Washington's Nordic Chapel
                                  A Modder Resource Package

    Description
Adds a completed version of Washington's Nordic Chapel resource.

    Details
A free to use resource pack for anyone who wants a little architectural diversity in
their mods. The pack provides an exterior and interior.
Having used almost all of Washington's resources in my own modding endeavors,
I was excited to see a new set uploaded to Nexus back in late 2016. The "Random
Unfinished Models" pack included 3 exteriors that Washington had begun building
but never finished. Needless to say I downloaded it the day of release.
At the time I was just beginning to learn modeling, but knew I wanted to make use
of the Nordic Chapel at the very least. The exterior only needed collision. Otherwise
it was complete. So I set about fashioning a matching interior for it. Now sharing
for others who may take an interest.
P.S. This thing is much larger than it looks.

  5. A Tiny Little House

    A Tiny Little House

    Description
Provides a new house model with matching interior for your modding projects.

    Details
This is a free to use resource for anyone who wants to use something new in their
mod project. Some time ago I began an exhaustive search for free 3D models that
could be used in Oblivion modding projects. While there are plenty out there which
have the right look, many are very low quality and not worth the effort. The model
included here is one of those rare little gems that I managed to dig up.
I found it on Animium, a site which hosts free 3D models. There wasn't info included
with the download, so I have no clue who to credit for the original work. My thanks
to whomever it was. What I can say is it took a good bit of additional effort on my
part to get things to this stage.
This is a small poor man's dwelling which fits a lower class single bed, small table,
and some clutter. I chose not to install a fireplace due to space constraints. But a pot
belly stove may fit and there are a few modder resources of that kind out there.
*Note: The doorframe was supposed to be scaled for a stock vanilla lowerclass door.
But.......somehow I mucked it up. We'll point the blame at that stoopid moth who was
flitting around. By way of fixing things, I've included a re-sized vanilla door that properly
fits the doorframe. Problem solved for now. I may revisit things later.

  6. Farmhouse Expansion Kit

    FarmHouse Expansion Kit

    Description
Provides seven new models for use in your city, town, village, ...whatever you build.

    Details
This is a free to use resource pack for anyone who wants some diversity in the vanilla
farmhouse lineup. It contains 3 models which are slightly tweaked/bug fixed variants,
plus 4 models which are entirely new.
While playing the game and building mods over the years, I've jotted down a bunch
of stuff which I someday wanted to accomplish. A wish list if you will. After flailing
about and learning 3DS to a somewhat respectable degree. I began working on that
    wish list.
What you find here is a small sampling of the work that has been accomplished. I'm
sure they are not perfect, but let's face it, the vanilla models were far from perfect also.
So these should fit right in.

    Contents
There are no textures included since they use vanilla textures. Meshes folder contains
    one each of the following:
Farmhouse01b -    A variant with open shutters and visible window panes
Farmhouse02b -    Similar to above, opening the one shutter which was closed
Farmhouse03b -    Opens all lower level shutters
Farmhouse04   -    New model built to match the vanilla farmhouse04 interior
    Farmhouse05   -    New L Shaped model
Farmhouse05Int - New matching interior for the above
    Farmstable 02 -     New L Shaped stable

  7. Lowerclass Expansion Kit

    Lowerclass Expansion Kit

    Description
Provides fourteen new models for use in your city, town, village...what have you.

    Details
This is a free to use resource pack for anyone who wants a little diversity for the
vanilla lowerclass lineup. It contains models which are slightly tweaked / bug fixed
variants of the vanilla homes, plus several entirely new additions.
While working on upgrades for Settlements of Cyrodiil, I developed a number of new,
unique, lowerclass variants that are based on the vanilla style. I thought it would be
nice to release some of them as a standalone pack for the community to enjoy.
What you find here really is just a small sampling of the work accomplished. A little
something to spruce things up a bit. Do keep in mind that these were all byproducts
of me just experimenting with what was at hand.

    Contents
There are no textures included since they use vanilla textures. Please use the images
along with description below to get a better point of reference. Meshes folder contains
    one each of the following:
HouseLower01b - A variant of the vanilla model which has the cellar addon and the
side popout removed. This was done to make the exterior match the vanilla interior.
HouseLower01Int2 - A variant of the vanilla interior which includes the exterior popout
addition. This matches what is seen on the vanilla houselower01 exterior.
HouseLower02_NRP - A variant of the vanilla lower02 model which has had all of the
ragged wood panels and framing removed from the roof.
HouseLower02b - A variant of vanilla lower02 model which has had the door removed
from the left end. Making the model a single entryway home.
HouseLower02b_Int - A matching interior for the model above.
HouseLower02c - A variant of vanilla lower02 model which has had the entire extension
removed from the left hand side of the house. Making a slighter smaller house.
HouseLower02c_Int - A matching interior for the model above.
HouseLower02d - A variant of vanilla lower02 model which has had the extensions from
both ends removed. Leaving a much smaller simple box house.
HouseLower02d_Int - A matching interior for the model above.
HouseLower02_Addon1 - A covered steps addon for the main doorway area. This fits all
of the lower02 models and adds another layer of architectural diversity to mix things up.
HouseLower02_Addon2 - A smaller covered steps addon for the end doorway area. Will
obviously only make sense being used on the models which have that doorway.
HouseLower03b - A variant of the vanilla lower03 model which has had the side popout
addition mirrored onto the opposite side. It also has a new extension on the rear as well.
HouseLower03b_Int - A matching interior for the model above.
    TavernLowerAddon1 - A porch/steps addition for the vanilla lowerclasstavern.

  8. Town Guard Armor Stands

    Town Guard Armor Stands
                                        A Modder Resource Package

    Description
A resource pack containing armor stand dummies for vanilla Town Guards.

    Details
Recently I found myself in need of some armor stand dummies and went to the most
obvious resource: "Meos Armors of Cyrodiil For Dummies". Unfortunately Meos pack
included everything except the Town Guard armor dummies that I needed. And after an
exhausting search, I was unable to find them anywhere else. So with some help from
another community member, Nakakita, we set about solving that little problem.
The end result is a set of armor stand dummies containing all of the vanilla Town Guard
varieties, both male and female. We thought for other modders this may be useful, so
are releasing as a Modder Resource Package. They all use strictly vanilla textures.

  9. Ships Made Simple

    Ships Made Simple
                                  A Modder Resource Package

One of my favorite things to mod in Oblivion have been the ships, especially since
there wasn't much to start with. The lack of diversity in the vanilla game really left
a blank canvas for me to experiment with. As with other things in this game, there
are challenges that need to be dealt with.
The biggest being how many individual pieces one has to manipulate into place in
order to assemble even one ship. This resource pack was an attempt to simplify the
process somewhat while working on a personal shipping mod project.
While it took some time to assemble unified meshes, the time it saved over the long
run was well worth the effort. I thought for others who wish to make custom ships,
this may help alleviate some of the hassles I experienced.
**NOTE: This is one of my older files which is due for an update. It all works but had
some elements needing improvement. I made a unified collision model for
all of the vanilla ships. Then got sidetracked, misplaced the files, and never
got back to it. Will finish updates after moving all my stuff over here.

    Details
To give a better example of what this does, lets take a look at a basic ship assembly in
the construction set. The Serpent's Wake for example is a basic ship design. It consists
    of these pieces:
    1. BloatedFloat01.nif (hull)
    2. MainDeck01.nif (main flooring, stairs, door frame, etc.)
    3. ShipCabin01.nif (rear upper deck, windows, some trim work)
    4. MainMast01.nif (masts, sails, rope, rigging)
    5. BoatSideRivets01.nif (these are the side planks with the big rivets) optional decoration
So for even a basic ship there are five separate pieces that have to be properly aligned
when placing them in the CS. Not horribly difficult mind you, but tedious to assemble and
not have unsightly gaps. Ship interiors are even more demanding. The basic ship interior
consists of potentially as many as 20 pieces.
Consider the time to retexture all these pieces for a custom ship, place them individually,
align them to eliminate gaps...you get the picture. What I have done is assemble the bits
into a single mesh. Making them much easier for the modder to deal with. Now you need
only drag one item into the CS window.
Some of Mr Siikas ship models have also been simplified and in a few cases bug fixed.

    Contents
    1. Full meshes for basic vanilla ship, vanilla pirate ship, and Bloated Float. Also interior
        cabin meshes for each.
    2. Full mesh for Mr Siika's Cog ship which includes an integrated door frame and helm.
    3. Full mesh for Mr Siika's Corvette ship with the misaligned pieces fixed. Nephenee13
was kind enough to fix the problems for me, she gets full credit for the fixes.
    4. Full mesh for both versions of Mr Siika's Nordic Longship.
    5. Full mesh for four versions of Mr Siika's Elven Galley Hull 02 which includes a cabin
door frame on the rear deck and a separate door mesh which previously didn't exist.
Most modders were using an ayleid ruin door for this ship. I borrowed the idea and
retextured it to match the elven ship wood. Added a door handle, and small window.
There is also a retextured floor hatch and ladder for the interior.
    6. Improved Elven Galley interior 01. The original had no steps or door frame leading to
the rear deck of the ship. I've added those elements in so one could place a door and
        have it not look ridiculous.
    7. Full meshes for several versions of Mr Siika's Imperial Galley. For those who haven't
seen it, this is a BIG ship.

  10. Lowerclass Stable Additions

    Lower Class Stable Add-Ons

    Description
A Modders Resource pack containing add-on pieces for the LowerClassStable01.nif.
Can be used to make your settlement, town, village, or whatever you build, look a bit
    more interesting.

    Details
This is a free to use resource. When I began working on Settlements of Cyrodiil a few
years back, I wanted some variants for the lower class stable. So I cobbled together a
few alternate versions by adding bits of wood and planks.
They weren't optimal to be sure, I just threw them together in Nifskope. Maybe they are
not an optimal solution still. But they are unique. Recently I made updates. Separating
the add-on meshes from the stable and creating collision. This pack contains all three
of the LowerclassStable01 add-ons that were created. A test .esp is included.
01 adds a simple loft to the left side of the stable.
02 adds a loft and a wall to the rear of the stable, closing it in.
03 adds a loft to the rear and right side, plus a wall on the rear.

    Contents
There are no textures included since everything uses vanilla textures. Meshes folder contains
    one each of the following:

  11. Fixed Leyawiin Houses

    Fixed Leyawiin Houses for Oblivion

    Description
Provides fixes for all of the Leyawiin middle class and upper class style houses.

    Details
One of the most glaringly obvious issues with Leyawiin architecture was the lack of
wood window frames on the ground level. All of the middle and upper class homes
had the lower window frames molded into the wall plaster. While the window frames
everywhere else on the models were the same dark wood as the house framework.
After many years of hoping someone would tackle this, I decided it was about time
to roll up the old sleeves. So I've cut the lower window frames out from the plaster,
gave them wood textures, adjusted uv maps so the grain runs true, and added them
back into the house framing where they always should have been.
I used models included with the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, so whatever fixes were
already present in the UOP are included here as well.

    Contents
    Leyawiin Blackwood Company House
    All 4 Leyawiin Middleclass Houses
    All 6 Leyawiin Upperclass Houses

The Leyawiin Lowerclass houses, Fighter's Guild, and Mage's Guild do not have this
issue. So they are not included. These models can be used to overwrite vanilla and/or
UOP models in your game. The fixes found here are not present in the most current
    version of the UOP.

  12. Imperialized Architecture

    Imperialized Architecture for Oblivion

    Description
A Modders Resource pack containing a mixture of architecture types all repainted
in an Imperial City color palette.

    Details
This is a free to use resource for anyone who is interested in what's here. This set
was initially developed just as an experiment. Like many other folks, I have used the
"Imperial City Suburbs" mod, and liked the IC themed houses it contained. So one
afternoon I decided to try making my own variations.
As a test subject, the mod added town of "Milewood" (by Ryu Doppler) was chosen.
The resources found here were developed specifically to replace that architecture.
End results were, in my humble opinion, a success. I am particularly happy with how
well the door textures turned out.
Unfortunately I was never able to get a response from Ryu Doppler, after inquiring
many times about permission to upgrade his mod. So the next best thing is to share
the resources themselves. Which can be used to create a new IC..ish type town. Or
    to overhaul Milewood for yourself.

    Contents
Apologies, but I never got around to repainting interior doors. All the goods to do so
are included, you only need a few moments in Nifskope and presto! Contents are a
    mixture of city architecture pieces:

    16 houses w/ matching interiors
    1 Priory
    1 Stable
    1 Porch Add-on
    4 Exterior Doors

  13. Chorrol Snow Architecture

    Chorrol Snow Architecture

    Description
A Modders Resource pack containing all of the Chorrol house models with ice/snow
on the roofs. Contains 19 pieces of architecture which can be used in your settlement,
town, village, or whatever you build.

    Details
This is a free to use resource for anyone who wishes to use Chorrol style homes in areas
where there is snow present. The shingle and tile roofs have been replaced with custom,
iced over textures. It could have been more snowy, but conveys the theme well enough.
Chorrol is one of three cities in the game which is very close to a snowy mountain range.
In the real world this would undoubtedly result in an occasional dusting of snow. If not
being dumped on from time to time.
I need to make a better normal for the texture, so this will see an update soon. But it is
quite useable in the current state.

    Contents

  14. Bruma No-Snow Architecture

    Bruma No Snow Architecture

    Description
A Modders Resource pack containing all of the Bruma house models without the
snow on the roofs. Contains 10 pieces of architecture which can be used in your
settlement, town, village......or whatever you build.

    Details
This is a free to use resource for anyone who wants to use Bruma style homes in
areas where there is no snow present. The snowy wood and thatch roofs have been
replaced with their non-snow counterparts. A super easy conversion anyone could
have done with Nifskope. But hey, I saved you that hassle.
I must give a nod to MindFeeder for the idea. Years ago I used a resource pack from
that author, which had Bruma No Snow houses, but I lost it somehow. More recently,
when I needed them again, couldn't find the pack to download. So made my own.

    Contents
There are no textures included since everything uses vanilla textures. The meshes have
all had "NS" appended to the names so as to NOT overwrite vanilla house models. The
Meshes folder contains one each of the following:

  15. Regional Farm Fences

    Regional Farm Fences
                                                A Modder Resource Package

My personal take on how the farm fence pieces would look using regional vanilla wood textures. While
working on various settlement projects I ended up creating quite a few farm related pieces that were
retextured with regional stone and wood. I thought for others who wish to create unique mods, or
enhance existing mods, these pieces may prove useful.

    Details
    =========
It always bothered me that vanilla Oblivion used a lot of the same resources for every region of the game.
The common wooden farm fence is a perfect example of this. One can find the exact same style of fence in
almost every settlement throughout the game world, with the exception of Bravil which does have it's own
    unique type of fence.
So when I began working on Settlements of Cyrodiil I wanted each region to have architecture which used
the materials unique to that part of the world. Included here is a complete set of farm fence pieces for
every region of the game. With the exception of Kvatch which is burnt to a crisp so didn't need farm fences
anyway. The Imperial City and nearby areas can use standard vanilla farm fences.
Each set is created using regional vanilla wood textures. I did tweak some of the wood textures in order
to make them work properly on the fence pieces, but they are still all based 100% off of stock vanilla
    wood textures.

  16. Regional Stonewall Pieces

    Regional Stonewall Pieces
                                   A Modder Resource Package

While working on various settlement projects I ended up creating quite a few farm
related pieces that were re-textured with regional stone and wood. I thought for
others who wish to create unique mods, or enhance existing mods, these pieces
    may prove useful.

    Details
    ========
It always bothered me that vanilla Oblivion used a lot of the same resources for every
region of the game. The stonewall architecture is a prime example of this. One can
find the exact same style of stone wall in almost every farm and interior of every city,
even though each city interior has it's own unique stone and wood materials. The only
exceptions to this are Bravil and Kvatch.
So when I began working on settlements architecture which used the materials unique
to that part of the world. Included here is a mostly complete set of stonewall pieces for
each of the other areas in the game. The sets contain every piece that I have personally
had occasion to use in a mod. I don't think there is much that was left out.
Each set is created using regional vanilla stone and wood textures. I did tweak most of
the stone textures to make them work properly on the stonewall pieces, but they are still
all based 100% off of stock vanilla stone textures.

    Contents
    ===========
There are folders for each of the previously unrepresented areas...Anvil, Bruma,
Cheydinhal, Chorrol, Leyawiin, and Skingrad. I didn't do anything for the IC region.
Figured that was a good region for the stock vanilla stuff. Folders will contain 1
    each of the following meshes:
    stonestairsmid01
    stonestairsnarrow01
    stonewall01
    stonewallbend01
    stonewallbend01rm

    stonewallramp02m

Some regions have alternate textures. Anvil has standard and lower class, Bruma has
plain or snow, Cheydinhal has plain or mossy, I'm sure you get the idea.

  17. Regional Dock Pieces

    Regional Boardwalk & Dock Pieces
                                                A Modder Resource Package

My personal take on how the waterfront dock pieces would look if built with regional
materials. While working on a shipping mod I created quite a few waterfront related
pieces. Which includes docks and boardwalks retextured with regional stone & wood.
For others who wish to create waterfront mods, or enhance existing mods, these may
    prove useful.

    Details
    ===============
It always bothered me that every region in the game used the same waterfront meshes.
Included here is a full set of boardwalk and dock pieces for the other 3 waterfront areas.
Each set is made using regional vanilla stone and wood textures. I tweaked a few to make
them work properly on the boardwalk pieces, and in the case of IC boardwalks adjusted
UV maps slightly to make the cobblestone tile properly. But they are still all vanilla textures.
Bravil docks for example use Bravil stone and wood.

  19. Leyawiin Deck

    Leyawiin Deck

    Description
    =============
Provides a fixed version of the vanilla LeyawiinDeck01 model. Or perhaps just an
edited version. Maybe Bethesda wanted it to have gaping holes? Hard to say.

    Details
    ===========
This is a free to use resource for anyone who wants or needs it. This mod fixes the
missing panel on the rear portion of the deck roof. And adjusts the wood supports
so that open mesh portions are not visible.
Quite a long time ago now Bess asked me if I could fix the gaping hole in the back
of this vanilla model. At the time I was just learning modeling and had a laundry list
of personal projects. It took so long, but at least now it's done.

  20. Anvil Architecture Fixes

    Anvil Architecture Fixes
                                A Modder Resource Package

This pack contains fixed meshes for the Anvil Lowerclass Stable and Tavern. A
by product of me wanting to use the models for something and finding out they
were broken. It wasn't my intention to make vanilla replacers, but they can surely
    be used as such.

    What has been fixed??
    =========================
Some minor things that most folks probably haven't even noticed. And at least one
glaring issue that makes me wonder how it passed any form of quality control. Use
the following list and the included screen shots to reference all fixes.
    Stable:
    1. Roof textures were displayed upside down. Adjusted UV Maps so that the roof
        tiles now correctly cascade downward.
    2. The roof peak trim piece didn't extend all the way to edge of the roof panel on one
end. This left a visible gap in the mesh. Extended the trim to correctly fit the roof
        panel.

    Tavern:
    1. Panel below the entry door was linked to the wood post frame when it should have
used a stone texture. Separated from the wood framing and uses correct texture.
    2. The wood post to the right of the upper window was too short and did not touch
the roof, leaving a small visible gap. Extended the post to close the gap.
    3. As with the stable, the entire roof had textures displaying upside down. Adjusted UV
Maps so that the roof tiles now correctly cascade downward.
    4. Wood framing and stone panels in between the windows were...just broken. And I'm
being nice here. They were pinched and pulled outward in the center, leaving a large
visible gap just below the windows.
    5. On the back side of the tavern, wood framing to the right of the chimney was missing.
Installed two pieces to fill the gaps.
    6. The framing and wall panel left of the chimney were pulled out on the upper corner.
Making them extend out beyond the roof eaves and leaving visible gaps. All are now
        correctly placed with no gaps.

  21. Sigurd's Ballista

A simple mesh resource, a new Ballista Siege Engine, including the ballista mechanism itself and a simple -static bolt for Oblivion - the ballista comes in four parts, the base, turntable, elevation wheel and the ballista itself (parts 01, 02, 03, and 04 respectively). I have included a demo esp set up near Anvil Lighthouse to show how to organise the meshes in game. The four parts have been designed to fit together to give the illusion of a movable mechanism, when in reality they are static. The included bolt is also currently static.
You can look at the ballista in the CS to see how the meshes are placed but essentially it works like this: First place the base – then place the turntable and ballista mechanism on exactly the same co-ordinates, place the elevation wheel on the same x and y co-ordinates, at z co-ordinates -15.6 to the other three parts. The elevation wheel needs to be lower so that it can rotate on its axis. First adjust the elevation of the mechanism, then rotate the elevation wheel in the opposite direction, then select everything except the base and set the direction the ballista is to face.
In future, I may work to animate this so that the Ballista can actually shoot havoked’s bolts the way Phitt’s cannon could shoot cannon balls. For the moment, however, this is just decoration.

  22. Oblivion: Argonian Guard Dialogue

These were created for a work-in-progress mod, but Arthmoor expressed interest in them, so I figured there was no reason to keep them to myself if others could use them.
This file contains spliced voice and lip files in the Argonian male voice for use with Oblivion; they are generic lines intended to be used by guards for arresting the player.
The directory the files are placed in in this package is correct, but requires some tweaking: the mod's name will replace "Mod.esp" in the Sounds/Voice directory, and the voice and lip files will need to be renamed to work in-game.
Hopefully modders should have at least an idea of how to get these working in-game, but if necessary I suppose I could do a tutorial.
Oh, one more thing: if you make the new Argonian guard a member of one of the vanilla guard factions, or a "Guard" by class, there will be missing dialogue lines. The safest thing to do would be to give the NPC a new class flagged as a guard.

  23. Bruma Castle Wall base

This is just a wall mesh, it will eventually be part of a tileset designed to completely replace all of Bruma's walls, or including Keep, towers, gatehouses, etc. For now this mesh is provided as-is, it has been subdivided so that a modeler can curve or deform it as needed.
    More to come!

  24. Animated Castle Portcullis

Just a very simple nif based on Beth's original static "castleportcullis01.nif" with sound and animation added. All I did was import the meshes from the standard castleportcullis01.nif into the Kvatchcastleportcullis02.nif, which has animation, then added keys for the sounds to play. As this is based on the Kvatch mesh it has a lower centre than the standard portcullis, so if you simply substituted it for the static version it would be missaligned - you have been warned.
This was about a 20 minute job, plus a little testing for sound timing, so please feel free to do whatever you want with it, but I would appreciate a credit.

  25. AFK_Garden Paths Resource

A set of stone walkways made from the vanilla doorstone objects. The set is modular, and contains pieces roughly modeled on the vanilla sidewalk meshes, with a few additions. Each piece includes an editor marker at ground level in the shape of the piece's collision mesh for easier placement in the CS.
Also included is a small esp file with a test cell (AFKGardenPathsTestCell) that shows how to place the path pieces.
