Modders Resources

Resources which may be freely shared by others to use in their mods.

4 files

  1. Mongo Resources V3

This is a collection of resources that I originally created for a large mod that I have been working on. Feel free to use these in any playable mod as long as you give me credit. I have included an esm that you can use for your own mod so that, if you so choose, you can just add this resource pack as a requirement to your mod so that you don't have to add items individually to your own mod.
I will be adding to this collection periodically as I continue to develop mods that use this resource pack. It is my intention to keep this resource pack upwardly compatible, meaning that if you have a mod that was created to use an older version of this resource pack, that mod will continue to work without modifications using the latest version of this resource pack.
I have also included a sample mod which adds many of these resources to the vanilla Fallout New Vegas game.
    Important Note:
Files from this mod may not under any circumstances be uploaded to Nexus Mods.
This is due to Nexus Mods terms of service which, since 2021, now effectively take ownership of anything that is uploaded to their site.

  2. Mongo Sample Companion

This is a sample companion, which was made from a request.
It is intended to serve as a base from which to create a companion. It is not intended to be used as a companion as-is.
The companion is voiced using a horrible annoying computer-generated voice.
It is expected that you will change the voice to something less annoying.

  3. Sunset Sarsaparilla Eyebot

    Sunset Sarsaparilla Eyebot
                                           A Modder Resource Package

    Description
A few simple resources to fix another one of those little things which bugged me.

    Details

While browsing the GECK one day, working on something completely unrelated, I discovered an
unused eyebot creature. It was obviously intended to be a Sunset Sarsaparilla eyebot for use in
the factory. However, it didn't have a unique model of it's own.
So on a whim I decided to try throwing something together. I ripped bits of texture from various SS
signs that existed in-game, and incorporated them into the standard eyebot texture. It could use a
bit more refinement, and for sure needs a proper normal map created. Been meaning to do that
    part at least.
That said, it didn't look half bad in-game, and served my purpose at the time. The little guy looks
right at home flying around the factory perimeter. So I thought someone else may be interested in
    using it.

  4. Sunset Sarsaparilla Protectrons

    Sunset Sarsaparilla Protectrons
                                                 A Modder Resource Package

    Description
A few simple resources to fix one of those little things which bugged me.

    Details

In the GECK there are two types of Protectrons designated for use in the Sunset Sarsaparilla Factory.
The SSHQShippingWorker and the SSHQSecurity. Unfortunately they both use the stock protectron
model. Finding myself annoyed with this state of affairs, Gimp and Nifskope were launched.
I threw together some quick retexes to give each model a unique SS themed look. This pack includes
meshes and textures only, no esp. It was a good idea, which served my purpose, but I won't be making
any public mod releases with it. This is being uploaded as a modder resource, so you will need to put
    it all together.
The Shipping Worker model uses the standard protectron model as a base. Simply apply the included
decals and the amber colored dome glass. The Security model uses a re-textured model as a base, all
the same decals, the re-textured brain unit, and the reddish colored dome glass. All pieces are labeled.
