DEF_UI causes instant CTD when opening Pip-Boy

I recently did a full clean install (Remove all mods and clean out the files then reinstall) and I decided to try my hand at making a custom Hud with DEF_UI, I figured out issues with not making it actually use the HUD, but now regardless of whatever I do, if DEF_UI is installed and I try to open my Pip-Boy it immediately crashes to desktop. I've tried to fiddle with it and even if I switch to using Vanilla it still crashes. The only things I have installed are the Script Extender and DEF_UI. I've never had an issue like this and I'm not sure where to go from here. I've tried googling the issue but every time someone has this issue it's related to another mod, but as I said, DEF_UI's the only mod I have installed.
