Weird Glitch - non-component components

I've run into a weird glitch and am wondering if 1) anyone else is having this happen, and 2) if anyone knows how to fix it.

So, this is only happening for things that have non-component components. For example, a paint bucket. Anything made of regular components (steel, plastic, ceramic, etc.) works fine. Just the ones with other objects as components are glitchy.

If I don't have all of the needed items, it shows normally. All components are listed, along with how many of each I have.

If I do have all of the needed items, the number next to the name that indicates how many I can make goes up (non-zero), but all of the components disappear from the list. It's not saying they're at zero, the list itself is gone. No components listed, no indication of how many I need or how many I have. Just a blank space where they used to be listed. And then if I press the button to craft, it just makes a feeble buzz sound and I don't get the item.

Anyone have any ideas on this one? I'm at something of a loss.
