Any idea how this will affect the SE CK? phatbassanchor

Beth.net is not going away, the CK is not going away and modding is not going away. Details will be added to the FAQ soon. phatbassanchor
SkyLover
I'm curious what this'll mean for the Creation Club. Will that content continue to be serviced by Beth.net via microtransactions, or will they become Steam DLC?
Scythe Bearer
From everything I have seen, there is no relation between CC and the Launcher. They appear completely distinct from each other. I'm just curious why, if they are sunsetting the Launcher, they still have the download button on the Bethesda.net home page. Seem that would have been removed on the day of announcement. SkyLover
Could be they just haven't gotten around to updating the website yet.
Scythe Bearer
Poor project management, Todd. But hell, I can share a spare, so now they have no excuse. lmstearn

The Launcher is currently scheduled to be discontinued in May (though that date could be postponed). Until then, the launcher needs to be available for existing users who might need to re-download due to computer failure or component upgrade.
