HUDEditor - Customize your HUD!

Finally, a customizable HUD for Fallout 76!

Based on the source code for Custom Crosshair by Bolbman/SkyOps. HUDEditor is open-source under the GNU GPL. Source code can be found here. If you know AS3, I highly encourage you to contribute if you can! This is quite a large undertaking for just me.

HUDEditor allows you to make the HUD look the way you want it to!

Features:

  • Ability to move and scale parts of the HUD
  • Independently recolor parts of the HUD
  • Show a percentage value above the hunger/thirst meters on the HUD
  • Always show thirst/hunger meters

HUDEditor comes with built-in support for Improved Health Bar, Perk Loadout Manager (HUD version), Event Notifications, and Custom Crosshair!

Installation: Like any other mod. Put BA2 and XML in your Fallout76\Data folder and add the BA2 to your load order after the mods listed above (if you use them). XML is pretty well commented so you shouldn't have many issues figuring out what things do.

Resizable/movable elements:

  • HP meter
  • Right meters (AP meter, active effects, hunger/thirst)
  • QuickLoot menu
  • Interact prompts
  • Compass
  • Quest tracker
  • Notifications
  • Stealth meter
  • Team panel
  • Fusion core meter
  • Quest/Event complete popups

Recolorable elements:

  • HP meter
  • Right meters (AP meter, active effects, hunger/thirst)
  • QuickLoot menu
  • Interact prompts
  • Compass
  • Quest tracker
  • Notifications
  • Stealth meter
  • Team panel
  • Fusion core meter
  • Quest/Event complete popups
  • Floating quest/player markers
  • Friendly health meter (shows at the top middle of the screen when looking at a friendly NPC/creature)
  • Subtitles/speaker name

Known Issues:

  • Installing HUDEditor with a mod manager results in crashing. (Cannot fix - not an issue with HUDEditor)
  • Thirst/hunger and active effects widgets not placed properly with Power Armor gauges UI enabled.
  • Moving/scaling active effects widget causes it to not update properly.

My first time ever working with ActionScript and my first ever mod. Please don't judge me too harshly if I get some things wrong! Please also note that I cannot accept monetary tips on this mod due to the license and out of respect of the modder whose source code I utilized.
