Save Clear Script Cleaner tool for SSE?

I've always used Hadoram's excellent Save Script Cleaner tool for SLE and using that tool saved my game several times, but now I have a similar gamesave issue in SSE and that's related to Serana since she are now under control of AFT.

I don't need a picture to termine what's wrong with Serana, because she is acting wrong I mean she is *dragged* on the ground without walking or running and on top of that her face is totally black as I cannot see her face.

Does anyone know if Hadoram or someone else converted Hadoram's Save Script Cleaner tool for SSE?   I need to ask, because that tool is user friendly and easy to use and now I really need to use it.

It seems alot of people have issues with the mod FollowersCanLoot. It might be the cause of your issue. As for a Save Cleaner, it seems the only decent one available for SE is FallrimTools. I personally have never had any issues with using it, and it can make backups of your saves if theres any trouble. It does require Java which I would rather it did not, but a workaround for that, is to simply install Java only when you need to use Fallrim.

Fortunately, I didn't saved my game when I notice that Serana had a black face and later when I continue the issue with Serana was no longer present.

Hmm... I'm a bit skeptic about using the Fallrim tool as it favors MO2 users in which I don't like one bit nor do I want to even try MO or NMM or the new Vortex mod manager.

So, I have to install the ReSaver tool and see what result it has.

Fallrim Tools is not safe. I've spoken to a number of people about game issues after having used it on their saves. It's not helping at all, only making things that much worse with save corruption.

He has not. I wish he would. I do not like the Falrim tool and have stopped using it.

Whatever happened to the tool in SkyUI? Or was that SKSE? We could just configure a flag in the .ini, and it would remove updating scripts that were no longer in the load.

I'll note that I spent some time in Touring Carriage designing the scripts so that nothing was running, when you weren't taking a ride. So there were no warnings after removal. Folks complain that SE and XB gives warnings of corrupted saves. I've not been able to reproduce. But then I've always finished my ride before removal. I'm guessing the problem is timed updates calls. Removing them automatically would be nicer.

Data\SKSE\SKSE.ini

ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

I'm assuming that still works for SSE, but it isn't going to solve much other than to bring invalid update events to a close. That helps, but it doesn't make uninstallling mods safe. There are still plenty of things that Fallrim Tools will say are bad for your save that are perfectly normal to be there - like active script instances.

I suspected that as the Fallrim Tools has 28 submitted bugs (at least one is not a bug) in the mod page.

The bug tab has now been removed from the mod page, but have all the bugs been removed? Still, might be worth a download for the other tool in the suite, "Restringer".

Restringer isn't any safer than the other parts. They all still rely on incomplete knowledge of the save file format. You're playing with fire messing with that stuff in any way.
