Arthmoor
Just figured I'd give a heads up about this since it took me a whole day and 3 full revalidations before I figured it out. Stray files in your Saves folder can cause Fallout 4 to freeze during the opening menu forever. I found this out after discovering a stray .7z file in mine. I have no idea how it got there, but it did, and removing it fixed everything. This very likely applies to other archive file types and possibly to text files too but I have not bothered to check that. F4SE cosave files are not bothering it though, which is good. hlp
I've been having subdirectories there for ages so those do not matter also. As well as the text desktop.ini that windows placed here a long time ago.
