I'm another Oldrim player who had Steam relaunch today and then couldn't open WB to make sure my mods are all in order (and can't launch the game through SKSE.)

Hi,

I have Wrye Bash 313 and Skyrim AE on Windows 10 v22H2.

Every time I try to use the "Plugin Checker" it seems to be working for a little while but then I get a window with:

The new version worked perfectly.

I have another curious observation to share:

On my modlist I have Heart-To-Heart - Conversations Among Family and its esp is called "Heart-To-Heart__Lollia.esp". Whenever I rebuild my bashed patch the window at the end behaves oddly. It is alright until it gets to the double underscore in the name of this file then it removes them and switches to bold type for the entire remainder of the output.

It does not affect any functionality but I thought I would inform you anyway.

That's a big time glitch in rendering markdown :rofl: - will keep a note but don't hold your breath we are few and have to address more tricky stuff, thanks for reporting though :)

Hello. Hoping you can help, though the error occurs when trying to open Wrye Bash through Mod Organizer 2 so not sure if it's appropriate here.

I'm in the process of modding Oblivion and have been loosely following the Through the Valleys guide, which includes the Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.

When trying to open Wrye Bash through MO2 to create a patch, I get the following error:

The file DLCShiveringIsles - Faces.bsa is from the Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch and is stored under the MO2 mods folder but Wrye Bash is looking for it in the Oblivion Data folder. The mod is installed and activated via MO2. Would dragging the file over into the Data folder resolve the issue? Not sure if this would cause problems of its own though.

Apologies if this isn't a Wrye Bash issue and is instead an MO2 one or has to do with the patch itself but hoping you could help.

Edit: Disregard this post. Apparently, it was a problem with file ownership. I had to edit my permissions for the drive Skyrim and Bash were on, and that solved the problem.

i've jsut recently installed Wrye Bash and run it through MO2 to create a bash patch for Skyrim AE, but I get the following error message when I run Wrye Bash.

Hi, having an issue at the moment, using version 314 for Oblivion.

When I create a new marker in the Installers tab, I can't rename it; When I hit Enter it doesn't take the marker and stays as the default "====". This also means I can't create any additional markers.

There are no error pop-ups ro messages, it just acts as if I left the text box empty and hit Enter.

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue, or if this is an obvious user error I'm just not seeing.

Just a H/U, if Wrye Bash is run as admin, no problems with repairs on OneDrive save files, else if run as invoker it can acquire a permanent hour glass on a repair, A-bomb for instance.

EDIT: Downloaded 3.12 wrye bash over 3.14 and now it works fine

@sdolo56 Based on the error message, Flames of Coldharbour.bsa is entirely null bytes, which is of course incorrect - it should have data in it. Try redownloading it from wherever you got it from.

If that still doesn't fix it, please link the mod you got the file from.
