BlackPete Posted December 19, 2016 Share Posted December 19, 2016 That shouldn't be possible unless you've done something to aggravate them such as assault or theft. The one time I tried that method with the patch installed I was able to go in and rescue Thorald and come back out without any Thalmor becoming hostile. Are you using mods, and if you are then what kind of mods do you use? Post your loadorder. Also, try to go back to an earlier save, a normal gamesave and not to a quicksave/autosave and re-start the quest. Before you either installed a new mod(s) or uninstall a mod, which is NOT recommended to uninstall a mod(s). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Coconut Posted December 20, 2016 Author Share Posted December 20, 2016 I am using no mods other than the Unofficial Patch. I reset the quest and went through it again. That did not solve the problem, so I just did it the violent way. If I start another playthrough, I will go through the quest again and see if the problem persists.
