BSAs and scripts

The MCM version of Bound Armory is nearing its release. One of the final steps will be packing the MCM scripts into the bsa. So far the bsa has only had meshes inside and i used bsa opt with highest compression. I seem to recall a thread, that discussed the ins and outs of which compression to apply once scripts come into play, but the details evade me.

So, i think this should be a quick one: What's the proper way to pack a bsa for Skyrim?

Thanks.

The best and surest method is to use Bethesda's own archive.exe tool for the job. I don't think scripts will have an issue with compression and haven't heard of anything bad happening because of it.

Yep and I have seen discussions during development of other projects where high compression has been determined to be the cause of a few script problems. So best treated the same as sounds and voices when packing into BSAs, use very little or no compression at all to prevent any timing hiccups in execution.

Ok, will just have to take your words for it. I usually pack uncompressed anyway out of old habits, and Bethesda's own script files aren't compressed either.
