Can't assign settlers

Hi since the last update I have been having problems assigning settlers to things, more so on the new game I have just started. I have tried disabling/deleting each mod I have downloaded individually with no luck also tried different load orders still no luck deleted all mods yet still no luck. I did use a cheat mod at the start of the game. The problem was intermittent on a game I started without mods (different mods used on that game). The new game glitched just after getting Preston to sanctuary and was helping sturges (excuse any spelling errors) set up everything, note I did set up beds water food etc beforehand using cheat mod, and glitched when I tried to assign settlers to food. Thanks for taking the time to read this and for any help or info you give.

P.s I'm using Xbox one and here is a list of mods I was using.

Possibly related to http://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/4542-unofficial-fallout-4-patch-ufo4p-takes-an-arrow-in-the-knee/ ? If so, not much Team UFO4P can do about it for now. We need Bethesda to step up and fix this.

I have the exact same problem. Can't assign or move anyone to anything and all my settlement stats are wrong and I have no production of anything. Basically the whole settlement system is broken. Happened after updating unofficial fallout 4 patch.

I have pretty much the same issue but I can't assign settlers or move them, they have stopped spawning now and during (a quest) such as the ones Preston gives you (new settlement spot) it asks you to build a generator and a recruitment beacon, once I do that it still says I need to build it and I'm on the taking back the castle quest and I can't complete cos the game doesn't register me getting power the the recruitment beacon and I'm can't progress in my settlement building. All the mods I have installed worked before I updated (unofficial fallout 4 patch) and I am stuck. I would greatly appreciate knowing what is going on with either fallout 4 itself and this mod.

Dear Bethesda....sort your game out and get your priorities strait and thanks to the people of our community who put tons of effort into trying to make the game better for PC users and know console users. I hope this issue is addressed and hopefully we can all enjoy our fallout 4

We have now discovered that my problem is NOT a UFO4P problem it has something to do with Bethesda. Thanks for all who took the time to read and reply.

So, the last post on this topic was in July 2016.  I have recently started having the same issue of being unable to assign settlers to jobs and crops of previously assigned settlers do not grow for harvesting.  Recruitment Beacons do not bring new settlers in, and I can not reassign settlers from other settlements, nor assign supply lines.  The avatars for the settlers are consistent and their gear does not change.  They will still trade with me.  Has there been a fix found for this?
