Recent work on some issues within the Unofficial Patch project (e.g. constructing the new supports for the Windhelm piers) has shown that it is still a problem to add appropriate collision meshes to Skyrim's static objects.

It may have gone unnoticed that there is a new tool, which converts any conventional mesh into a bhkCompressedMeshShape block and adds this to a nif of your liking:

Thanks Sclerocephalus. :)

I'm well aware of ChunkMerge, and the newer all in one version NifUtils. It wasn't feasible to use it on such a huge mesh in this case just for underwater columns that no one will probably even notice.

I know there are other bug tickets about collision that I've been putting off, but will eventually get to them using this tool.

(Or, anyone else can feel free to try it and contribute!)
