Just a quick note to anyone who might have been trying to reach the site in the last couple of hours. We're back

 

Weekly site maintenance tasks chewed us alive for a bit, and then Linode announced a free upgrade. So since things are usually dead as a doornail here late at night I figured I'd go ahead and take advantage of it.

 

We now have twice the RAM as before for the same price. This, combined with their recent upgrade to bandwidth quotas and CPU hardware, means we're now running on a much nicer setup that hasn't cost us a single penny more than when we signed up. If only they'd also tossed in some free disk space with that, but hey

 

If you're ever in the market for a good VPS host, Linode.com is the way to go.

Ran some more updates today, in case you tried get in but couldn't. Nothing major, but it required a reboot.

The breach has no effect on us here, so business as usual.
