Thomas Kaira
Well, the nice thing about the compatibility patches I'm drumming up now through the usual false-flagging de-isolation is that the only necessary changes are occurring on the base Forms. A quick check-over in TESVSnip shows I managed to avoid any dirty edits creeping in.It's nice to see at least some old tricks still work.
Arthmoor
Just don't try to clean the results with TESVSnip. It could damage the mod if you do.

Sigurð Stormhand
Sigurd' date=' I keep forgetting, where is "over here" for you?Not a lot of folks keep herb gardens around here. I don't do a lot of food shopping anywhere other than Stater's so I don't know if the other big chain stores carry their herbs in the produce sections or not. We do have plenty of expensive "organic" stores like Trader Joe's that sell them that way. Plenty of "damn Yankees" know how to cook, and cook well. My mother being one such person. Granted, it's more of a lost art now with the instant gratification culture the US lives in, but there's still plenty of folks who practice the arcane arts [/quote']Just to clarify I was joking - though the British do generally find the eating/cooking culture in the US quite jarring."Over here is North Devon", it may be green and verdant but the wet and heavy soil mannage to destroy crops often enough - and we have plenty of rabbits.Though, having said that, my mother's problem right now is more slugs. Thomas Kaira
Trying to figure out how I wish to implement a new feature for EOS, and I am in the "I don't know what the hell I want to do" zone. At this point, it looks like this one might be a bit more dialogue-centric than script-centric. But I've still got a ton of variables to relay back and forth and I need to figure out just how I'm going to pull that off.Looks like there's only one solution to this problem: sleep. No, seriously, I really get my thinking cap on when I'm in bed with the lights out. If I'm having trouble with a script debug, usually within five minutes of getting into my bed, I come up with a solution that I didn't see before because I was frustrated. Dwip
I work like that too, which is why there's usually a pad of paper next to the bed when I'm working on something, because otherwise I forget by the next morning.
Arthmoor
I've done that too. Unfortunately I also have a lot of my best ideas while in the shower, which isn't quite as easy to document before forgetting

Thomas Kaira
Exactly why I am not at all flustered my mods don't make it into the Hot Files.Everyone experienced with Nexus knows that section desperately needs to be renamed "Top Adult Mods." Practically all you ever see there are "sexy" races, costumes, and body replacers.
Arthmoor
Well I've had a couple of Oblivion things crack the hot files before, but that never lasted very long. Boob mods showed up the next week to replace them. Nothing I've done for Skyrim ever got there that I was aware of. At least the nude mods look better in Skyrim though

That could almost be the South Downs - it's not all green and verdant here - you're also forgetting the extreme changability of the weather. We have been in a situation of drought here even as people's homes are flooded. After a month of flood, most (not all) the drought warnings have been lifted. Thomas Kaira
Well, hey, I found my sweet spot and got the improved shadows into the game, so I'm happy. Shadows look like Morrowind's with MGE XE now, and it's a definite step up in quality (rounded edges instead of blocks). Shadows shimmer less and don't look like ass when you zoom in close to them.In other news, I just got my first customer who thought he knew better than me how to design one of my mods. Yeah, like you know better than me how I want my own mod to turn out.
