nVidia Users - Heads Up?

No idea what kind of truth there is behind this, but someone on Nexus' modders forum claims an nVidia driver update shoved a SecuRom install on him behind the scenes which then forced verification of all titles installed that had this protection method.It sounds dodgy, but who knows. Just keep an eye out if you're using an nVidia card and want to grab the latest driver update. If it's true then this represents one hell of an escalation in the DRM war.

Looks like the guy was either up to no good or hadn't ever launched his copy of Fallout 3 using the game's launcher. Figured it was some kind of false alarm.

Pretty obvious, nVidia doesn't ever pull that kind of shit with their drivers. I swear by them, and for damn good reason.Trolls will be trolls. :rolleyes:
