Arthmoor Posted March 25, 2012 Share Posted March 25, 2012 No idea what kind of truth there is behind this, but someone on Nexus' modders forum claims an nVidia driver update shoved a SecuRom install on him behind the scenes which then forced verification of all titles installed that had this protection method.It sounds dodgy, but who knows. Just keep an eye out if you're using an nVidia card and want to grab the latest driver update. If it's true then this represents one hell of an escalation in the DRM war.
