So, what's DC's policy on foul-mouthedness?Also, not so keen on TESA move, no particular reason I can pin down. It just doesn't feel right.

Here are our forum rules. We allow swearing in forum posts. The only restriction we have is we don't want it used in topic titles, member titles or status updates. Basically all the areas where it could be seen by a casual visitor. We also permit nudity, but not porn. We do ask members to tag their posts with NSFW if they have racy pics or material in them.DC is IP.Board with all the features turned on. This means you can embed videos and images in posts and PM's. You can invite multiple participants to PM's. I describe most of the features in this post.DC is a lot like this forum. In fact when I set it up, I drew inspiration from the way things are set up here. We want a place where people can relax.

Some good news to report. After asking DarkRider about the possibility of getting hosted there as a project forum, he's gone one better and offered us a fully independent portion of one of his servers. This means we'll be able to transfer the entire site, wholesale, without the need to convert anything to new software. The arrangements have been set, and we're getting access stuff worked out as we speak. This means we retain our current look, feel, style, etc. We keep our current rules and individuality. All around, a pretty great thing and I am hugely grateful to DarkRider for extending the offer.AndalayBay, the offer to move to DC is greatly appreciated, and should we ever have need of going that route, we'll definitely keep it in mind.

Yeah, that definitely resolves the issue wholesale. Now it's just a question of what the new address will be and when the transfer will take place. :)

Andalaybay is already on TESA.
The new site will be completely standalone and nothing to do with TESA.

Exactly, the very, and only real, thing that makes moving to TESA better than moving to DC is that the site will remain completely standalone and not be absorbed into the new host's main site, so whether she's already there or not has no bearing.

Indeed. Once this gets rolling there will quite possibly not even be a noticeable amount of downtime, it will be pretty transparent to everyone.

I'm glad you found more than one option to choose from Arthmoor. It looks like the choice you made is the most popular one. I'm fine with whatever you do.
