AndalayBay Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 And you're finding that when you enter the village for the first time, the gate isn't there? Does it show up if you leave and return to the village?
Ysne58 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 As I have already described, on one occasion a gate was there. On other occasions I have had to enter and exit the inn, sometimes more than once to get it to appear. And I am not getting Arthmoor's gate in game. It is always one of the vanilla gates. Once you complete the Kvatch quest you have a 25% chance of random gates opening. And it is a vanilla gate always.
Arthmoor Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 Actually that may be my fault again. I forgot I reset the conditions on MY gate to match the conditions of the original gate script I was overriding. Which means that you should be seeing random gates (and my gate) only after having gone all the way past the infiltration of the Dagon Shrine and retrieving the Mysterium Xarxes.Which, as it turns out, is stupid. The actual random gate script does indeed start opening gates immediately after Kvatch's gate is closed. So I guess I'll need to modify things a bit in between sessions with the CK beta test.

I'm glad you are one of the people who got the honor of doing that beta test.
Arthmoor Posted January 21, 2012 Author Posted January 21, 2012 Well, ok. More precisely. Random gates begin spawning after escorting Martin to Weynon Priory. So that's where I'll set my gate to spawn too so that it isn't out of place. The file is updated now. Back to the CK testing
