AndalayBay
I've got two NPC's that fight each other. It's set up so that one dies and the other is supposed to play a special idle afterwards. It's working fine except the playidle is interferring with the NPC putting his weapon away. How do I detect that the NPC has holstered his weapon? GetEquipped always returns true, even after he's holstered his weapon. Thanks!
Arthmoor
Using IsWeaponOut you should be able to tell.
AndalayBay
Thank you Arthmoor. I tried searching on weapon drawn... *sigh* And weapon returned way too many hits.
Arthmoor
Thus why I hate wikis. Searching them is a fruitless endeavor. That function came in handy for Faregyl
AndalayBay
Yeah... Next question The idle I want the NPC to use is point down. That's working fine, but it's too quick. But if I have him do it more than once, he puts his hand back down to his side afterwards. Would you happen to know if there is a longer point down idle? Dwip
Not off top of my head. Also re: functions, this page and this page are our friends, albeit our oft-combed over in minute detail friends. Searching is a losing game.
AndalayBay
Very true. But once again, you have to have some idea of what you're looking for. I usually search the OBSE docs for those functions and usually find what I'm looking for because the descriptions are all on the same page. Thanks for the links and for the help guys.
