Arthmoor
There's some backend URL housecleaning being done on the forum code right now. If something breaks, no need to report it. The bots will be all over it long before anyone else notices, and I get emails for all that. [more]You might then ask, why is this being done?I'm planning to start converting everything to the use of more friendly URLs. Instead of this: http://www.afkmods.com/index.php?a=files&s=viewfile&fid=12 you'd instead see this: http://www.afkmods.com/downloads/afk-tweaks-12/'>http://www.afkmods.com/downloads/afk-tweaks-12/ (yes, this URL actually works right now, not much else does though)It's been a staple on my blog for ages and I personally love it, and so does Google. It'll take a huge amount of picking through templates to cover all the bases, but the first thing that has to happen before any of that is that all the templates have to be scrubbed of bad habits like using ../ as URL shortcuts. So... yeah. Stuff might break while I'm doing that because of how lame this forum's codebase is.Also, speak now, or forever hold your peace.Should it be http://www.afkmods.com/downloads/ or http://www.afkmods.com/files/ Link to comment
AndalayBay
Files might be more consistent. Even we use Files and so does Nexus, at least on the initial menus. You also have Files in the left menu pane. Link to comment
Conner
Sounds like a reasonable progression for QSFP, though for the time being I'm blaming it on the links in the RSS not working right anymore. Link to comment
Arthmoor
So it's looking like "files" is the way to go. Link to comment
Arthmoor
Files it is. The conversion should be done.Be on the lookout for 404 pages, those I don't get eyes on via email so I'll need URL's for broken stuff. Link to comment
Dwip
My first thought: "My brain is kind of 404."Clicking through AFK_Tweaks, some things:1. Wait, AFK_Tweaks is our top download by a large margin? What happened there?2. Ratings: now with 100% more fatal error.3. Comments: now with 100% more invalid file error. Link to comment
Arthmoor
And now with no fatal error, one hopes. The comment thing I dunno. That shouldn't have broken, but, well...I'm seriously considering blowing that functionality away since it's a massive pain to work with. Link to comment
