Just ran into an issue where I "did the thing" [avoiding spoilers] and a note with further instructions was to appear in a barrel in Solitude.  The barrel was correctly identified by the map marker, but when I checked the barrel, there was no note.  So I am guessing the script hasn't been updated to put the necessary note in the new barrel?

My planned workaround will be to manually advance the quest by either manually adding the note to my inventory or use the CLI to move the quest forward.

You could just pass through the AI door to the closed city and get the note from the real barrel until that's fixed. Less risky than using console commands.

This will be fixed for the next OCS update though.
