This update will be in the Steam Beta. If you would like to opt in to the The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Beta update, please follow these instructions:

• Open your Steam Library and navigate to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
• Right click on "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered" and select "Properties"
• In the new properties pop-up window, select "Betas"
• In the beta drop down to opt into, select "[beta]"
• Wait for app to download new build and launch

Was hoping for a changelog 90 pages longer, but oh well.

Indeed, I was hoping for any detectable changes whatsoever in the .esp, but alas, there are none.

I'm seeing reports of crashes and performance degradation after the update, so that's fun.

Supposedly it's got something to do with the game not recompiling its shaders, but I for one discount that claim based on the number of people who updated and aren't seeing this. I suspect it's more a case of people not updating UE4SS so that their mods load properly with the update. UE4SS was updated early in the beta cycle and may have gone unnoticed by many
