Reunification of Skyrim

I’m currently stuck on “Regain The Pale” quest which involves the “Reporting for Duty” speech option not being available for Legate Rikke. This has been a common problem with multiple solutions being provided on multiple websites and forums. Unfortunately for me none of them work. I’ve literally done everything I could that does not involve console commands as i’m playing on PS5. I did hear that my save file could overall be bugged because I was also doing the “Season Unending” quest line but I don’t know how true that is. I’m just wondering why such a common bug hasn’t been fixed.

Partly because it's not such a common bug as you've been lead to believe. Partly because we've never encountered it in game, and without being able to do that, we'd be unable to formulate a fix for it.

The biggest issue is that whatever the solution to this ends up being, it will almost certainly require scripting to fix. Which would not be supportable on PlayStation since Sony does not allow external asset uploads. And no, there has been no policy change on that front from either Sony or Bethesda despite the hackers who found an exploit in the CK to bypass the restriction.
