    Skooma Bear

    Version 1.0.0

    48 downloads

Mod Trailer Description: What is a Skooma Bear? Why it is a bear addicted to moon sugar that keeps calling moon sugar Skooma. Why do they call it Skooma and where do they come from? Find out! In this mod, you will meet Sniffs in the Bannered Mare. He is all depressed that he was kicked out of his den, and that his den mates stole his 'Skooma'. You quickly discover that the bears are much more than what they appear, and even get to fight their alpha. But where did they come from? After helping Sniffs out, he will agree to be your follower. Also at this time, you can ask him about where he comes from. Naturally he becomes defensive, but will eventually relent. From there you will be sent on a quest and will meet new characters, one of which can become a follower. The best part about these followers? You can request their assistance without worrying about Vilja, Xanthys, M.H.A.R.P.H.I.N., Serana, or any of the other followers you currently use. Sniffs offers a lot more options than the vanilla Skyrim follower system, and will follow and wait most anywhere. You can even set your favorite house and favorite inn for Sniffs to remember and wait in. The other follower, Faidalf, is quite typical in the high elf tradition of arrogance, and is one of the few at the College of Winterhold versed in the art of Mysticism. He refuses to do most of what Sniffs can do, but will do the basics. Faidalf will treat you differently depending on whether you are a member of the College or not, and whether you are the Arch-Mage. He will give you the opportunity to become involved with his latest research when you become(or currently are) the Arch-Mage. The new texts and dialogue are rooted in the lore found in previous Elder Scrolls games, while adding worthwhile content. It might be a richer experience for you if you have played previous Elder Scrolls games. If you have not, I highly recommend using USEP wiki as a companion. What is Added: -Added 'Skooma' Bear -Sniffs is a 'Skooma' Bear that can be a companion (fully voice acted) -Companion quest to unlock Sniffs (non-killable companion) -Custom companion system with normal follower functions included in this new system. -Another companion quest to discover Sniffs' origin. -Faidalf, a fully voiced high elf follower. -Faidalf has a non-marked quest for the arch-mage. -Faidalf's dialogue evolves depending on if you are not affiliated with the College, a member of the College, or the Arch-Mage. -A spell to summon Skooma Bears. The spell takes advantage of Conjuration perks, so you can conjure two at once. -Allows for other companions in use in addition to the new companions -A spell to call sniffs to you Changelog: V1: -Initial release Original Mod's Credits - CaptSpiffy - Beta Tester - Debo - Voice Acting - FreeFrag Network - Audacity - for Sound Recording/Editing - Windows Move Maker - for the trailer - Creation Kit Wiki - http://www.creationkit.com/Main_Page - as a scripting resource - Nexus Wiki Voice Acting guide - http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Voice_Acting:_A_Complete_Guide - Since I was being dumb with how I added new dialogue - TESVEdit - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? - for cleaning my mod - Open Broadcaster Software - https://obsproject.com/ - Recording the videos to showcase the mod, and record footage for the trailer. - Youtuber John Windsor-Cunningham - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDVOOo7R31c - Video to voice coach for the high elf character. - USEP Wiki - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page - Used as a reference for the lore references used in new dialogue and text. [WIP] The Yokudan Ascendancy

The Elder Scrolls V: The Yokudan Ascendancy. Plot: The Yokudan Ascendency is a large-scale Quest mod for the Elder Scrolls V with releases planned for Legendary (regular) and Special edition. In this story, the player is promised 11 action-packed carefully crafted & interesting main-story quests as well as a shorter and less-extensive lore based storyline. Main questline: In this questline, the player discovers the mystery behind a dragon seeking to end all of Nirn – and this time not even the dragonborn can stop him. Discover the secrets behind Kronolyia – the realm of Akatosh and the final resting place of all deceased dragons. Become his champion, serve him loyally and discover true meaning of what it means to be “The last Dragonborn” and uncover the lost lore and secrets of the Aedra. Grow your power as dragonborn, unlocking raw, untapped power gifted to you by your creator and become the strongest mortal who ever lived. Lore Questline: After the events of the Dragon/Main Questline, the dragonborn faces a new threat. The Yokudan Ascendency’s oldest enemies – The true Descendants, a group of warriors from Hammerfell that arrived in the second Era in search of mythical Aedric Artefact said to be crafted by the divines. Both groups searched for it, but the stubborn and isolated ways of the Ascendency and the relaxed ways of the warriors clashed. The Yokudans eventually retreated back to their home in Oaksmere and the warriors assimilated into Skyrim culture and settled in the province, running Skyrim in the shadows from behind the scenes. Now, they have returned, and attempt to put an end to the Ascendency for the last time. In this questline, the tense history between the two groups are revealed as the dragonborn seeks to eradicate the latest threat to the Ascendency. Other details: The story attempts to explore the history of Yokuda and the migration to Tamriel that led to the Redguards of Hammerfell. Shedding light on their ways of life, their religion and everything that makes the redguards one of the most distinctive races of TES lore in terms of culture and history. Every character in the mod will be fully-voiced, each having their own unique character and personalities and can be interacted with or ignored if the player chooses. The mod uses a huge advanced radiant system to generate a large amount of radiant quests with some shared between characters and some character-unique – in total around 50 radiant side quests only available at certain points throughout the story. There are also non-radiant 1-time only side quests for minor characters throughout the mod. Each individual radiant quest has 5 randomly generated emotions that influence the outcome and dialogue of each character for a quest. In rare event the player gets the same quest multiple times, the chance of them hearing the same lines are rare. The same radiant quest to generate scenes and greetings between characters using relationships and factions to determine a group of randomly-selected lines to be said at any point during a conversation. For example, when a high-ranking member speaks to a low-ranking member they’re dialogue will be different if they speak to someone within the same rank, but these will both be different if the two characters happen to be friends. The mod attempts to add an attempt of spontaneity, escaping from the sometimes fixed environment vanilla Skyrim can sometimes unintentionally create – characters’ decision will often be influenced by certain actions the player makes during the story, for example, whether Alduin has been defeated yet or not. The mod also comes with marriage opportunities, follower opportunities, trainers and more, creating an overall interesting and fun gameplay. Features: § Custom Weapons and Armor (meshes and textures) § Custom Archetecture & interior meshes § Well-designed dungeons to explore throught the story line § Over 30 fully voiced NPCs § New worlds/ realms § New, unique and powerful spells and shouts § (Tries to be) Lore-friendly § New followers, spouses, and trainers § A brand new faction to join with a handful of characters and history to be uncovered § Well-designed and fitting rewards for quests How can you help? (Any skill level/experience welcome!) Due to the large nature of the mod, I have decided to keep this page as short as possible. Therefore I have decided to include this short list below and all other enquiries can be posted in this forum or I’ll be accepting DMs. PRIORITY: WRITING. As previously stated, the mod is very large and although possible, it can be very tedious and time-consuming for a single person to write scripts for all the characters with different emotions and tones. Therefore we ask for assistance in order to allow us to write such complex scripts in a reasonable amount of time. Currently writing remains the top priority in the project. Level designing: Assistance in creating interesting and creative levels to clear and uncover throughout the mod. Voice acting: Please DM me or Post in the topic as we have yet to set up the required links and audition pages. Also, due to the large number of characters, we decided it best to not post them individually and instead allow people to tell us what type of voices they can perform. Modelling & Texturing: Assistance needed in creating custom assets for mod. If you think you can add anything to the mod, even if not listed please do not hesitate to DM or post! ALL help is wanted! Thanks!

    Smite of Order

    Version 2.0 beta

    78 downloads

Smite of Order v2.0 beta 1 INTRODUCTION This modification for the Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion adds a customizable Greater Power called Smite of Order to the player’s spell book. The spell can be cast only once per day. When cast, the spell will freeze the target in place and the weather will change. A magical target will appear above the target. From the halo, a powerful beam is sent straight towards the target. Upon contact with the target, the beam will violently explode, killing the target instantly. The ensuing shockwave knocks everything out of the way in a large blast radius. The original idea and working concept of Smite of Order were created by Jackmix69. With his permission I created and released an updated and less buggier version of the spell. 2 REQUIREMENTS In order for this modification to work the following requirements must be met: - The Shivering Isles v1.2.0.416 - Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) v0020 or later Please note that the modification does not work on the base game, older versions of The Shivering Isles or pirated versions of the game. 3 COMPATIBILITY This modification should be compatible with every other modification. No vanilla records have been edited. 4 INSTALLATION Install the modification with a mod manager of your choice (e.g. Mod Organizer 2, Vortex, NMM Community Edition etc.). If you wish to perform a manual installation, extract the contents of the archive to your Oblivion “Data” folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data). Be sure to activate the modification and always start the game with OBSE enabled. 5 LOAD ORDER Use BOSS or LOOT to sort your load order. Smite of Order can be loaded anywhere in your load order. 6 CUSTOMIZATION The Smite of Order spell can be customized through changing the settings in the Smite of Order.ini file. The file is located in the “ini” folder. Refer to the .ini file for more information on the configuration options. 7 UNINSTALLATION You can uninstall the modification with the help of a mod manager of your choice. In case you prefer to do a manual uninstallation, remove the following files from your Oblivion “Data” folder: - \Smite of Order.bsa - \ini\Smite of Order.ini - \Docs\Smite of Order Readme.pdf - \Docs\Smite of Order Readme.txt 8 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Is this modification compatible with OOO/Fran's/MMM/FCOM/Maskar’s? A: Yes, this modification is compatible with all major overhauls. Q: Is there any way to be able to cast the spell more than once per day? A: Yes, change the properties of spell “a1SMOSmiteSpell” to “Lesser Power” or “Spell” using the TES Construction Set. Q: Are there any known issues with the modification? A: Yes, there are some minor issues: - Scripted weather modifications may override Smite of Order’s weather controls; - Scripted vanilla weather (e.g. Kvatch gate weather) may override Smite of Order’s weather controls; - the spell is cast on Argonians or Kajhiits their tail will still look normal whereas their body will be turned into a skeleton; - Exterior/interior switching issue (see next F.A.Q. entry). Q: When I cast the spell and then quickly go into an interior and then back outside, the animations stop playing or other spell weirdness occurs. What is going on? A. This is an engine limitation with regards to how timers in scripts work. Q: My favourite colour is <insert colour here>, could you make a SpellBeam and matching weathers and shaders for me? A. No, sorry, I don’t have time for this. 9 CREDITS Jackmix69 – Original base spell, scripts, idea, meshes etc. OBSE team – Script functionality and debugging features. ElminsterAU – For creating the amazing TES4Edit tooling. 10 CHANGELOG v2.0 beta (2021/07/05) - Removal from Nexus Mods - Restructured ini file v2.0 beta (2011/06/07) - Rebuilt from scratch - OBSE requirement - Fixed majority of bugs - Improved weather handling - Added multiple spell beam options - Added matching weather options - Added matching shader options - Added ini file for customization v1.0 (2008/08/12) - Original version. 11 LEGAL - Do not upload this modification anywhere without my permission; - Do not use this modification or parts of it in your modification without my permission; - Do not re-release this modification under your name; - Do not monetize this modification. 30 downloads

Requirements: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn Recommended Level and Equipment: Level 15+ Be sure to keep healing potions or spells with you. Description: What is a Skooma Bear? Why it is a bear addicted to moon sugar that keeps calling moon sugar Skooma. Why do they call it Skooma and where do they come from? Find out! In this mod, you will meet Sniffs in the Bannered Mare. He is all depressed that he was kicked out of his den, and that his den mates stole his 'Skooma'. You quickly discover that the bears are much more than what they appear, and even get to fight their alpha. But where did they come from? After helping Sniffs out, he will agree to be your follower. Also at this time, you can ask him about where he comes from. Naturally, he becomes defensive, but will eventually relent. From there you will be sent on a quest and will meet new characters, one of which can become a follower. The best part about these followers? You can request their assistance without worrying about Vilja, Serana, or any of the other followers you currently use. Sniffs offers a lot more options than the vanilla Skyrim follower system and will follow and wait most anywhere. You can even set your favorite house and favorite inn for Sniffs to remember and wait in. The other follower, Faidalf, is quite typical in the high elf tradition of arrogance and is one of the few at the College of Winterhold versed in the art of Mysticism. The new texts and dialogue are rooted in the lore found in previous Elder Scrolls games while adding worthwhile content. -Allows for other companions in use in addition to the new companions Changes from the old version: -Old content cleaned with TESVEdit -Old scripts recompiled to help with mod compatibility -Overhaul of the current Sniffs follower system -Overhauled the initial quest with Sniffs. -The Skooma Bears in the Den now drop Moon Sugar. -The Skooma Bear Lord now drops Moon SUgar and Potent Skooma -Added a quest to find insight in why Sniffs exists, and attempt to make the mod lore-friendly in the process -Adds a new character and follower to the College of Winterhold. His name is Faidalf, and has custom voice-over and immersion. -Add another character that is a Khajiit with custom voice-over. -Adds a Conjure Skooma Bear spell Original description: Ever wonder what a bear addicted to moon sugar would look like? Well, a group of bears that are addicted to it thinks it is skooma. One, in particular, made its way to Whiterun in The Bannered Mare and is wishing for assistance in retrieving his 'skooma'. This mod introduces the 'skooma' bear as a creature into the Skyrim universe. Also, a special one named Sniffs is your companion. This companion uses a custom system outside of the vanilla system, derived from the vanilla marriage mechanics. In other words, you can send him to one of your houses, to follow you, to go back to The Bannered Mare, or to stay put, without sacrificing your other favorite companion. Enjoy Known Issues: -Skooma Bears might become temporarily bugged in the dungeon. Make sure you keep some way to heal yourself handy if this happens. -Sniffs might not allow you to immediately hand over the Skooma Supply. Leaving the dungeon will fix this issue. Known Quirks: -The Khajiit voice-over might be a little silent and sound like whispering. I apologize, I am not a voice actor. -Some of the new Skooma bear dialogue is either repetitive or seems slightly out of place. This is due to the original voice actor not being available for this project. Additional Credits in the new edition: - Audacity - for Sound Recording/Editing - Windows Move Maker - for the trailer - Creation Kit Wiki - http://www.creationkit.com/Main_Page - as a scripting resource - Nexus Wiki Voice Acting guide - http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Voice_Acting:_A_Complete_Guide - Since I was being dumb with how I added new dialogue - TESVEdit - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? - for cleaning my mod - Open Broadcaster Software - https://obsproject.com/ - Recording the videos to showcase the mod and record footage for the trailer. Pneuma Manor

    Version 1.2.0

    63 downloads

A random thought came up, why not have a house within the Soul Cairn. This mod will add Pneuma Manor, currently the only player home within the Soul Cairn. Good friend Morven will sell you this home for a sizeable bounty of Soul Husks. There are three levels of this home, the main level, the cellar, and the upper level. Upon entering the upper level, you notice that you are not the only ones living in the house. Meet the Necronn family, consisting of a mother, a daughter, a son, and a dog. To find out why they are in the house and resemble most of the current Cairn residents, explore this upper level for any clues. The father, he left behind quite the legacy. Various books found near his desk will reveal the legacy he has left, and some for the worse. In the process of discovering the past, you will wake up the past. This past will eventually lead to new recipes, a new spell, a new enchantment, and several other followers or residents of Pneuma Manor. This house will serve you and your adventures in the Soul Cairn well, being the only calm place within the bleak landscape. Note: I am making a massive update for this mod, but it won't be released for some time. It will be including the other expansions, and I will be leaving this upload at version 1.2. The regular Skyrim version of the new update will be called Definitive Edition, and it will just be Pneuma Manor when I port it over to Special Edition.

For the best experience, load Ordinator later than BAE and set Damage Scaling and Magic School in BAE Damage Settings to none (no automatic overruling). FAQ Will there be a Special Edition version of BAE? - We aim to release a version for the special edition, but we first need to see if the necessary tool + SkSE and SkyUI are updated for SE. What about support for consoles? - Unfortunately it doesn't look like SkSE and SkyUI will work on consoles, so at this point, we have to wait and see. Is this mod compatible with [insert famous overhaul mod] - At the current state, unless otherwise noted: No. But just as with the original Bound Armory, we plan to add support for various overhauls. If you are an experienced user of both Bound Armory and any overhaul mod and want to help us with a compatibility patch, please contact us in the comments section.
