    Gildergreen Regrown

    Version 2.0.2

    4785 downloads

A small mod to allow the Gildergreen in Whiterun to grow back to full size from a sapling. Danica asked you for sap from the Eldergleam to revive the dead Gildergreen in Whiterun. Instead, Maurice convinced you to bring back a sapling. All is now well in Whiterun, except for one small thing. That sapling deserves to grow into a nice big healthy proper replacement for the dead tree you helped get rid of. For those who followed the path of renewal in Blessings of Nature, but missed out on seeing the full size live tree in all its glory, this mod is for you. Now you don't have to choose the path of violence and destruction if you don't want to. Your sapling will now grow over the course of 6 in-game months from a tiny bud into a full bloom tree you and the city can be proud of. Kynareth shall smile on you for your kind ways. Requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch to be installed first!

Skyrim's courier is an industrious young lad who can be seen all over the province, yet doesn't seem to have anywhere to live and/or work. He seems able to find you at will, but what if you wanted to find HIM? Even if it would be a meaningless encounter, one should still expect a living breathing NPC that takes part in the world to have some place to work at and call home. No longer will the poor courier simply be dragged from his mystery cell and dropped in front of you to make his deliveries. Thus is born the Provincial Courier Service. This mod is a simple immersion/realism mod that provides a small shack outside of Whiterun along the main road, next to Honningbrew Meadery. What This Mod Does * Provides a home for Skyrim's default courier NPC who hands out letters for various quests. * Courier deliveries will now occur in person nearly anywhere in Skyrim. * Optional home delivery service will instead deliver messages to one vanilla or DLC house that you own. * Can also approach the courier at his office and receive mail deliveries there. Speak to the courier to set up your options. Until this is done, the courier will seek you out to deliver messages in person. Requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch to be installed first!

DO NOT extract the contents of the BSA file into your Data folder as loose files, or let your mod manager perform an equivalent function on the contents of the file. Doing so will cause things to load in the wrong order and break the game. Skyrim is intended to load a BSA alongside it's ESM/ESP file. Circumventing this causes issues which I will not provide support for. If you insist on going against this advice, you will receive no support for the problems you generate as a result of this. Installation - Wrye Bash BAIN Drop the archive into your Skyrim Special Edition Mods\Bash Installers folder, then install as usual. Make sure the mod is active in the Wrye Bash mods tab. Any mod that is more than pure mesh or texture replacements has the possibility to leave behind permanent changes to your save that you may not want. This is not something modders can correct for. It is how the game was designed by Bethesda. No support will be provided for anyone who uninstalls this mod from an active game and continues on with that save. Uninstalling this mod after the vanilla sapling grows one stage but before the vanilla adult tree grows in will result in there being NO tree, not even the dead one. You'll need to allow things to run their course before removing the mod. Remove the two files from the Data folder. Compatibility Compatible with Open Cities Skyrim. Does not overlap any changes in the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. Should work with other Whiterun mods so long as they do not also touch the Gildergreen. Contains no modified vanilla scripts. Disclaimer This mod is not made, guaranteed, or supported by Microsoft, Zenimax, Bethesda Game Studios, or any of their affiliates.

  8. Has anyone else had the following issue (ON PLAYSTATION 4): upon entering The Bannered Mare, I noticed that the barstool that serves as a table for the bard, Mikael, is glitched; the cup and plate that usually sit atop it have fallen through, and continue to fall through even if I try to put them back in-game. The same goes for the stool/tables in the Temple of Kynareth, as they cannot hold what usually sits atop them. It's a very annoying, very immersion-breaking bug that I've never seen before until the Unofficial SSE Patch. Though I haven't found the issue elsewhere in Skyrim, I'm sure all the stools meant to be tables are affected. Is it an item placement bug? Clipping? Anyone else experience this? Any information or fixes, or updates on if the next version of the PS4 USSEP will address this would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I wasn't able to make an account on the bug tracker. But I'm not sure if I would consider this a true bug anyway, more like just a mistake by Bethesda. I mainly play SSE these days, but this is present in both versions. I'll point to the Oldrim mod, Whiterun texture memory usage reduction by DDVIL. DDVIL found this problem and tested it out. Please read that mod page for a very thorough description. To summarize: there are two exact copies of the wrstonefloor texture, 01 and 02. 02 is the primary texture for almost all of Whiterun, except for a small part on a single mesh -- wrgreathouseplatform02.nif -- where 01 is used, causing unneeded VRAM usage. Fixing this only entails pointing the texture path to 02. I'm posting this here because someone in the mod comments suggested that this would be a good thing for USLEP/USSEP, and I agreed, so here I am.

    What could have been....

    From the album: Arthmoor's Goodies

This was going to be the new location for the farmhouse in Live Another Life, but that nagging little voice inside told me this wasn't meant to be. So admire what could have been, for it no longer exists except in this screenshot.
