  1. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch Version: 4.2.6 By the Unofficial Patch Project Team Download it from AFK Mods Download it from ModDB Download it from SSE Nexus Download it from Bethesda.net - PC Download it from Bethesda.net - XB1 Download it from Bethesda.net - PS4 Requires Skyrim Special Edition 1.6.318 or greater. Documentation + Credits - PC, XB1 Documentation + Credits - PS4 USSEP Discussion Forum on AFK Mods This mod is an effort to fix the vast amount of bugs currently existing in Skyrim Special Edition. If you're experiencing a bug with Skyrim Special Edition, please report the bug to us in as much detail as possible on the USSEP bugtracker. Please use search to ensure that you aren't submitting something that is already there. Please also confirm that the bug you are reporting happens with no mods other than the unofficial patches installed. A lot of Skyrim bugs are actually the result of other mods doing things they're not supposed to. Thank you and we hope you have a better Skyrim experience! (Note that all fixes are retroactive unless otherwise noted) Frequently Asked Questions - BUGS Frequently Asked Questions - About the Project Mods Made Obsolete by the USSEP Skyrim Anniversary Update If you are running the full AE update, it is strongly recommended you download and install Garthand's Creation Club Patches. These patches resolve conflicts between the DLCs and the USSEP that are caused by how load ordering works in the game. All Creation Club content is loaded before anything user generated, like the USSEP and any other ESM flagged mods you may have. The PC version can be found here: Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches Please direct any questions about these patches to Garthand over on Nexus. v4.2.6 (2021-11-12) [SSE 1.6.318] Official 1.6.318 Patch Update Reconciliation Gourd [FoodGourd] edits have been removed. USSEP Fixes textures\actors\dragon\dragon_swamp.dds should not have been removed from the patch since the SE version of this texture file actually has not been fixed at all. (Bug #31427) The sound file splice for the response to "Your weapons and armor are impressive" was missing from the BSA archive. (Bug #31680) Actor Fixes LvlBanditAmbushMissile was set to use csDraugrMeleeLvl1 instead of csHumanMissile. They are derived from bandit templates, not draugr templates. (Bug #31655) LvlBanditAmbushMeleeNordM was incorrectly set to inherit scripts from its template, which blocks the attached ambush script from being used. (Bug #31656) LvlFalmerAmbushMissile was set to use csFalmerMelee1H instead of csFalmerMissile. (Bug #31653) EncDraugr05TemplateMissile was incorrectly set to use 1-Handed weapons instead of bows. (Bug #31638) EncWarlockAtro06ImperialM is incorrectly set to inherit from the Pyromancer template instead of the Conjurer template. (Bug #31635) dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditBoss, dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditGuard, dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditMeleeAny, dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditMeleeBerserker, dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditMeleeTank, dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditMissile, dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditSentry, and dunRobbersGorge_LvlBanditWizard were all erroneously left as members of the standard Bandit faction which would make it impossible to pay the Robber's Gorge bridge toll or to walk away from the camp unharmed. They are all members of a quest specific bandit faction which is only made hostile if the player refuses to pay the toll or otherwise attempts to pass through the camp without paying. (Bug #31571) [NR] Leveled bandit ghosts incorrectly dropped physical loot despite being otherwise setup to be ghosts who shouldn't do that. (Bug #31769) DLC2EncBandit03MissileDarkElf02F was incorrectly configured to spawn from generic melee NPCs instead of archers. (Bug #31684) EncForsworn03TemplateBossMagic was incorrectly configured as a melee class instead of a shaman class. (Bug #31682) Serana should no longer make use of Skyforge objects while Kodlak's funeral scene is underway. Her AI package will disable sandbox behavior until you retrieve the Wuuthrad fragment from Kodlak's room after Eorlund asks you to go get it. (Bug #31572) Kodlak's corpse should no longer be naked while on the funeral pyre. (Bug #31572) Item Fixes Staff of the Flame Atronach and Staff of the Frost Atronach were both erroneously set as Destruction staves when they're supposed to be Conjuration staves. They have both been separated from their templates in order to address this. [DLC1StaffFalmerConjureFlameAtronach, DLC1StaffFalmerConjureFrostAtronach] (Bug #31435) DLC2LItemEnchWeaponMaceBest should not have been flagged to calculate from all levels since it's intended to give you the best possible item it can. (Bug #31296) Location Fixes It is apparently sometimes possible for NPCs to come out the Midden exit at the bottom of the main College spire, and when they do, they become trapped there because there is no ground path back into the area. Several navmeshes outside the area have now been adjusted to provide a walking path back up to the College. It's a somewhat roundabout path back, but it'll have to do. (Bug #30532) Magic, Perk & Skill Fixes The right handed version of Revenant used by NPCs is incorrectly set to use the left hand. [RevenantRighHand] (Bug #31640) AbFXAtronachStorm should not have the fire trail for Flame Atronachs attached to it. (Bug #31333) Quest Fixes Orgnar should no longer mention the love triangle in Riverwood if the triangle has been resolved. (Bug #31662) During Season Unending (MQ302) the town that's part of the Stormcloak demand for compensation should have been set to Anga'a Mill instead of Darkwater Crossing because Darkwater Crossing has no dialogue selection set up for it, and the control quest that holds the other aliases also specifies Anga's Mill but never fills it. (Bug #31617) The trigger box in Volunruud (0008af30) is not large enough and will not trigger properly if you enter the dungeon with followers. It has been expanded to cover the entire entry hall instead of only a very small sliver of it. (Bug #31588) Aval Atheron should not be delivering lines about his selection of fruits and vegetables when his inventory in his vendor chest is nothing but meats - and his vendor list was corrected to reflect this in an earlier patched issue. (Bug #31564) The Staff of Magnus [MG07] will not start if either Arniel Gane or Faralda are not available (killed, disabled, etc). Their parts in this quest are optional so their aliases have been marked to indicate this. The same issue will also prevent The Eye of Magnus [MG08] from starting as well. Since Bethesda saw fit to mark them this way for MG05, which happens immediately before these, they should have used the same solution here but didn't. (Bug #31681) Geldis Sadri should no longer give rumors about investigating Thirsk Meadhall if the player has already been there and resolved it in favor of either the Nords or the Reiklings. (Bug #31349) Runil's line "The number of graves in this cemetery never decreases." has an invalid condition on it which has been removed. He will now speak it as one of his random Hellos. (Bug #31338) Papyrus Fixes DLC01WESC03Script: A typo in the OnCellDetach event prevented the associated encounter quest from stopping, which over time would lead to several of the encounters being scattered across the map that are never cleaned up. (Bug #31503) Placement/Layout/Ownership and other World Object Fixes 0010FB68: Rapids effect on the Morthal water wheel was backward. (Bug #31329) 0008493F, 00084940, 00084941: Prey animal spawn points that were partially or completely embedded into the landscape. This could cause the nearby predators linked to them to run down the trail into Dawnstar instead of staying near the temple. (Bug #31330) 05019D00: Rock placed to cover a gap in a cave wall. (Bug #31385) 00105A1A, 00105A1B: Misplaced mudcrab spawn markers. (Bug #31451) 000DC443: Misplaced bucket. (Bug #31460) 000DC445: Misplaced firewood pile. (Bug #31487) 0501960F: Snow drift added to cover gap in terrain. (Bug #31491) 000D976B: Misplaced horse trough. (Bug #31495) 000D976C: Misplaced bucket. 2. Unofficial Oblivion Patch By Quarn, Kivan, Arthmoor, PrinceShroob, and SigurĂ° Stormhand This mod is a joint effort to fix the vast amount of bugs currently existing in Oblivion v1.2.0.416, fixing over 2,300 bugs so far! If you're experiencing a bug with Oblivion and it's not fixed by our mod please by all means report the bug to us in as much detail as possible so we can try to fix it! Also if you find any: levitating trees or rocks, see-through or fall-through walls/objects or other stuff out of place, please let either of us know. To get the exact location, use the console commands sdt 0 and then tdt, click the item, note the Cell (not PC Cell) and form ID value (the eight hexadecimal digits at the top, ie 00123ABC) and indicate what's out of place. You can use tdt again to toggle the debug display off. Thank you and we hope you have a better Oblivion experience! Downloads AFK Mods Nexus Mods TES Alliance Warning: Only use the Unofficial Oblivion Patch with the version of Oblivion is was created for! Using it on an older version than v1.2.0.416 of Oblivion may cause bugs or things not to be fixed that were advertised as such! Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp The Oblivion Citadel Doors' opening/closing sounds were played quite a distance away from the actual doors and fixing this problem meant that all instances of this door had to be repositioned in the game; it was made a separate ESP because a misaligned door in another mod is worse then a little door sound. UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp This plugin disables the ugly vampire aging effect which causes the bug where when the player is cured of vampirism, their face resets to the default male (even for a female player) face for their race. If you're already using another vampire fix such as EggDropSoap's or Scanti's OBSE fixes, or an alternate vampirism mod, then don't enable this one. It's a very small and simple change to a single game setting. To save a mod slot if you have many mods active this separate plugin can be merged with the UOP or with any other mod that is dependent only on Oblivion.esm. v3.5.7 (2021-11-01) UOP Fixes Corrected a typo introduced when Aldos Othran's dialogue was previously edited. Mesh & Texture Fixes The following meshes were intended to be included in the 3.5.6 release of the Unofficial Patch but were somehow left out, this was only realized when comparing Pherim's patch to a local copy of the patch because despite having the same faulty TriStrips these meshes were not included. These nifs have subdivided floor meshes with edited UV to remove texture distortion. They also now use TriShaps instead of TriStrips. 3. Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch By Quarn, Kivan, Arthmoor, and PrinceShroob This mod is a joint effort to fix the vast amount of bugs currently existing in the Shivering Isles expansion pack for Oblivion v1.2.0416, fixing over 300 bugs so far! If you're experiencing a bug with Oblivion with or without Shivering Isles and it's not fixed by our mod please by all means report the bug to us in as much detail as possible so we can try to fix it! Also if you find any: levitating trees or rocks, see-through or fall-through walls/objects or other stuff out of place, please let either of us know. To get the exact location, use the console commands sdt 0 and then tdt please note the Cell (not PC Cell) and Pos values and indicate what's out of place. You can use tdt again to toggle the debug display off. Thank you and we hope you have a better Oblivion experience! Downloads AFK Mods Nexus Mods TES Alliance Warning: Only use the Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch with the version of Oblivion it was created for! Using it on an older or newer version than v1.2.0416 of Oblivion may cause bugs or things not to be fixed that were advertised as such! v1.6.0 (2021-11-02) Mesh & Texture Fixes The following meshes were identified by Pherim as containing TriStrips with composed of multiple strip lengths, this was causing the Oblivion game engine to make multiple draw calls for each strip segment rather one for each TriStrip which was impacting performance. Pherim corrected this by converting the meshes in each nif to TriShapes, which resolved the problem. In the course of integrating his work into the patch the opportunity has been taken to rationalize the structure of some nifs, this may also improve performance. If you're experiencing a bug with Fallout 4, please report the bug to us in as much detail as possible on the UFO4P bugtracker. Please use search to ensure that you aren't submitting something that is already there. Please also confirm that the bug you are reporting happens with no mods other than the unofficial patches installed. A lot of Fallout 4 bugs are actually the result of other mods doing things they're not supposed to. Thank you and we hope you have a better Fallout 4 experience! If your bugs is of the more important variety, such as a broken quest, broken settlement mechanics, broken perks, etc, you should also submit the report of your issue to Bethesda as well. Use their feedback form to do so and provide them as much detail as you would us. We would all prefer the bigger things to be fixed by them, right? (Note that all fixes are retroactive unless otherwise noted) Frequently Asked Questions - BUGS Frequently Asked Questions - About the Project Mods Made Obsolete by the UFO4P UFO4P Fixes Due to an oversight in the quest scripts modified for bug #28982, unique items that are placed directly in the game world (i.e. not in an actor's inventory or otherwise in a container) could be missing entirely when a new game was started with UFO4P 2.1.2b installed. This bug affected four items in the base game, one item in the Far Harbor DLC and one item in the Nuka-World DLC. The fix makes sure that all missing items are recreated. You will be able to pick them up at their usual places (Bug #30815). Actor Fixes DN083_EncTurretTripodMounted: The template used by Barney's turrets was changed from EncTurretTripodMounted01Template to EncTurretTripodMounted04 (which brings them from level 1 to level 40), since the encounter zone they're in has a minimum level of 45 where level 1 turrets were almost instantly destroyed by the mirelurks they were supposed to defeat (Bug #24584). EncRadscorpion04Legendary, EncRadscorpion04AmbushLegendary: Legendary albino radscorpions were missing the material swaps for the albino skin (Bug #26401). LvlRadRoachNOSCALE: Due to a mistake with templates, the names of this variant of radroaches (with a fixed size) did not always match their appearance, i.e. normal radroaches were occasionally named glowing radroaches and vice versa (Bug #19884). Audio Fixes One of the settler voice recordings in a topic in ConvBunkerHillDebGenericNPC02 didn't match the other recordings or the subtitle. (Sound\Voice\Fallout4.esm\FemaleEvenToned\0005FB8C_1.fuz) (Bug #29509) Item Fixes Ultra-Jet: Despite its description stating an action point increase for 15s, this effect only lasted for 5s (Bug #30623). DLC04_Armor_Power_T51_Torso_RaiderOverboss: The overboss power armor torso was missing a null mod in the Misc slot (Bug #29223). CO_Mod_GatlingLaser_LaserReceiver_MoreDamage2: The construction of the Gatling Laser's Maximized Capacitor mod required the same science perk level as the construction of the Overcharged Capacitor mod, but should have required one level less (Bug #29496). FSTArmorMechanistWalkLImpactSet, FSTArmorMechanistWalkRImpactSet: The entries for walking in water in the impact data sets for the mechanist's armor were pointing to the impact data for power armor instead of the corresponding data for the mechanist's armor (Bug #29302). PowerRelayCoil: Removed a script that tried to set an obsolete stage on MS11 every time a power relay coil was dropped, picked up or moved between containers (Bug #23500). ModCol_PipeRevolver_Barrels_Long: The collection of long barrel mods for the pipe revolver mistakenly contained the long finned barrel mod for pipe bolt action guns (Mod_PipeBoltAction_Barrel_FinnedLong) instead of the corresponding pipe revolver mod (Mod_PipeRevolver_Barrel_FinnedLong) (Bug #29781). PA_X01_Torso_Lining_C: While all other third level power armor torso linings in the game add 120 HP, this one did only add 60 HP. This is no improvement compared to the corresponding second level mod (PA_X01_Torso_Lining_B), which adds 60 HP too, and thus unlikely to have been intended (Bug #29217). DLC03_Mod_Armor_Marine_Lining_Limb_ReducedDetection, DLC03_Mod_Armor_Trapper_Lining_Limb_ReducedDetection, DLC04_Mod_Armor_Disciples_Lining_Limb_ReducedDetection, DLC04_Mod_Armor_Operators_Lining_Limb_ReducedDetection, DLC04_Mod_Armor_Pack_Lining_Limb_ReducedDetection and Mod_Armor_RaiderMod_Lining_Limb_ReducedDetection all appear in mod collections for both arm and leg armor pieces and thus could be found on epic arm and leg armor items created by the game at run time. Though, once removed from arm pieces, the mods could not be put back nor mounted on other arm pieces because of an inappropriate mod association keyword (Bug #30341). DLC03_mod_armor_Trapper_Lining_Torso_Lighter3: This mod did mistakenly show up in the workbench menu for raider torsos, due to a wrong mod association keyword. Since it's a perfect duplicate of DLC03_mod_armor_Trapper_Lining_Torso_Lighter2 and also does not have a valid construction recipe (no materials specified), it has been invalidated (Bug #29782) Location Fixes HalluciGen, Inc.: Added a drop down marker to a ledge that didn't have one. Companions had to take a lengthy detour because they could not follow the player when he jumped down from that ledge (Bug #20418). Forest Grove Marsh: A one triangle navmesh island in a corner between a car frame and a container on the bridge just south of Forest Grove Marsh (cell -15,-6) has been moved out of the way since NPCs could get stuck there. On rare occasions, this could happen to Dogmeat during the quest MQ106 (Reunions) (Bug #19579). Somerville Place: The navmesh inside of the small bunker north of Somerville Place had no connection to the navmesh outside of it (Bug #28589). Quest Fixes Inst302: This quest never disabled all of the BoS soldiers that were enabled for the battle of Bunker Hill because some of them are not enable-parented and are enabled by scripts on various triggers instead. Because only those triggers can access them directly (through their links), they should also disable them eventually. To fix this, a cleanup function has been added to BHExtBoSEnable, along with some code that lets the script react to a custom cleanup event, and a custom script to send this event has been added to Inst302 (Bug #26704). RETravelCT07 (Simon attacks; Stash & Co, pt4): A tracking global was added to stop the story manager from trying to repeat this encounter after Simon is dead. The quest itself could not restart with Simon dead, but could get stuck in its startup phase and would then block its trigger forever (Bug #30279). DN009_MQ305 (Hunter/Hunted): At high levels, the scenes between the courser and the gunners could break because the courser was no longer able to kill his captives as intended. To avoid this, the quest script will now give him a custom perk that allows him to deal extra damage to his captives (Bug #29458). DialogueCovenant: Jacob Orden would still warn the player about Honest Dan even after MS17 (Human Error) was completed, because the respective topic had no appropriate checks to avoid this (Bug #28457). Also, Swanson's taunt line should only ever be used when he's targeting the player, but the respective topic had no appropriate checks either (Bug #28683). ComCurie, ComDeacon, ComStrong: Curie, Deacon and Strong will no longer comment on robots, synths and turrets looted by the player as if they were beings of flesh and blood. In addition to adding condition checks to various dialogue topics, this fix also required substantial modifications to CA_QuestScript and the quest CA_LootCorpse, as there would otherwise have been no target to run the checks on (Bug #23400). Inst302: The railroad agents enabled in the exterior world space during the battle of Bunker Hill were never disabled. While they do not respawn, any agent who survived the battle could stay in the area infinitely (Bug #30482). REChokepointCT02 (Stash & Co, pt1): Due to setting a tracking bool prematurely, this encounter could be missed entirely. The game would then proceed with starting the second part of this encounter series, where NPCs would talk to the player as if they had met before. Also, due to the quest shutting down and the aliases being cleared while the end stage fragment was still running, it could fail to move the NPCs back to the holding cell (Bug #29465). RETravelCT06 (Stash & Co, pt2): This quest was supposed to set a control stage and a tracking bool when the NPCs turn hostile, but this never happened because the scripts on its aliases were missing a property. This could result in the game trying to repeat this encounter or to proceed with follow-up quests in this encounter series (depending on whether the player spoke to Stash or not, and on his dialogue choices) even after all actors were dead. Also, due to the quest shutting down and the aliases being cleared while the end stage fragment was still running, it could fail to move the NPCs back to the holding cell (Bug #30228). RECampCT07a (Stash & Lexa dead; Stash & Co, pt3): Due to setting a tracking bool prematurely, this encounter could be missed entirely. The game would then proceed with starting RETravelCT07 eventually, and the player would miss a part of the story because he never witnessed the camp scene. This quest will now stay running until the player gets close enough to the camp site to discover the corpses and only then will set its tracking bool and be allowed to shut down (Bug #30278). DLC01MQ01 (Mechanical Menace): Ada's combat behavior flag on the scene DLC01MQ01_2400_AdaIntro was flipped from "end" to "pause", in order to allow her for resuming the conversation in case it gets interrupted by a stray enemy (Bug #28935). Deezer (Covenant) will now eventually be disabled when he's dead (Bug #25953). Knight Lucia (Boston Airport) will now eventually be disabled when she's dead (Bug #26818). BoSEnable: The BoS scribes enabled by BoS301 (Liberty Reprimed) were never disabled after the Prydwen had crashed. This will be handled now by the stage 200 fragment of BoSEnable (Bug #26818). DialogueGoodneighborRufus (Trouble Brewin'): This quest should not fail all of its objectives if Rufus dies after the drinkin' buddy has been delivered to him (Bug #24872). DLC04WorkshopBOSAttack01, DLC04WorkshopBOSAttack02, DLC04WorkshopBOSAttack03: These quests did never shut down, because they forgot to flip a bool property on their REScript once they got to the stage where shutting down was safe (Bug #28959). Papyrus Fixes DefaultDisableHavokOnLoad: This script had to be modified to handle cases where objects are placed on other objects that can be disabled or otherwise removed, such as knifes placed on corpses: when the corpse was cleaned up by the game eventually, it left the knife floating in mid air. The fix was then applied to a knife (001A6968) held by a settler corpse (Bug #26817). Perk & Stat Fixes The "highlight living targets" effect (DetectLifeChem) from Berry Mentats didn't benefit from the Chemist Perk because it was missing the necessary keyword (ChemEffect). (Bug #29095) Settlement & Workshop Fixes Outpost Zimonja: Fixed various navmesh issues related to gaps, precut meshes and overlapping triangles. To ease the reconstruction of its precut mesh, the cooking pot 0007285F was slightly moved away from a fence (Bug #30444). Jamaica Plain: Fixed a navmesh gap, grounded two significantly floating navmesh vertices and added a missing precut mesh to the news stand 00095383 (Bug #29901). Terminal Fixes BoS301ScaraMainTerminal: Due to a missing condition check, an entry on Professor Scara's terminal about the arrival of the Prydwen could be read before the Prydwen actually arrived (Bug #23252). Placement/Layout/Ownership and Other World Fixes 0019D9E2: Floating bobby pin box (Bug #30553). 000E9277: Enable marker missing an 'initially disabled' flag (Bug #30814). 00072807: Cinder blocks clipping into a guard tower (Bug #30444). 00024A21: A misplaced cluster of rocks and branches. One of the rocks was floating (Bug #30444). 03027F6D: A terminal linked backwards from a spotlight (0301EC6F) and a turret (03027F71) (Bug #30657). Roadside Pines: A leveled raider in power armor (001CCBB8) was forced by EMSystemTurf to use a wall lean marker while he was not in combat. This also forced him to exit from his power armor which he was unable to re-enter later on and which was usually found abandoned at the place of that marker (Bug #24597). Quincy Ruins: A leveled gunner boss in power armor (00225378) was forced by EMSystemTurf to use a terminal while he was not in combat. This also forced him to exit from his power armor which he was unable to re-enter later on and which was usually found abandoned and clipping into the table the terminal is sitting on (Bug #24597). Suffolk County Charter School: A terminal (0019A804) with no use has been disabled. The game data suggest that it was supposed to display some specific text, but this was never added by the developers (Bug #27222). 0704B75A: A wall piece was added to hide a gap between the wall pieces 000E1C39 and 00057BB6 (Bug #29463). 03054107, 03054108, 03054109, 0305410A, 0305410B: All Islander's Almanacs were missing the DefaultDisableHavokOnLoad script (Bug #30538). 0021FD4B: An absolete trigger that was moved out of the way by the patch earlier had to have its LocRefType removed, in order to prevent it from eventually ending up in an alias on DN084 (Bug #26181). 001A861A: A trigger, scripted to enable a linked reference that doesn't exist. It has been moved out of the way (Bug #26283). 0009D29E: A terminal linked with a wrong keyword to a door (Bug #25728). 07040C29, 07040C2A: Room corner pieces added to hide a seethrough gap in a wall. (Bug #28542) 00120730, 00120733, 00120775, 00120780, 001E80B0, 001E80B1: Benches that are placed backwards. (Bug #29455) 000A0E14, 000A0E15: Misplaced consumables. (Bug #29578) 000E7B59: Misplaced bakery ticket. (Bug #29622) 001E45D9: Cotton yarn with an incorrect ownership setting. (Bug #29622) 000A2D11: Minuteman corpse placed slightly below the surface of the ground. (Bug #30294) 000A2D12, 000A2D13, 000A2D14: Fusion cells and a stimpack that shouldn't have been set to respawn. (Bug #30294) 000A4AB8: Dirty Tan Suit partially stuck in collision of a locker, possibly making it impossible to pick up. (Bug #30554) 00096A8F: Misplaced box. (Bug #30592) 00232591, 00232592, 00232593, 00232596, 002325A2, 002325A4, 002325A5, 002325A6, 002325A9: Misplaced junk items. (Bug #30592) 00232595: Misplaced seat. They should have been on a 60 second timer, but that got ignored due to forgetting to take out the stage advancement in the dialogue. (Bug #24740) The Falmer shield should not have been given the ArmorHeavy keyword since no other shields use these and it interferes with the use of the Mage Armor perk. This partially reverts fixes for Bug #22958. A previous fix done for the Angarvunde dungeon ended up making it impossible to loot the key if you killed Medresi Dren prior to when she'd normally give it to you. (Bug #24797) [NR] Frostbite Staff was set to use the wrong type for the slow effect when it was fixed in a previous patch version. (Bug #25196) The enchantments governing the Pale Blade had once been fixed to provide an extra stamina effect to satisfy the double stamina damage. However this was incorrect because the standard frost damage effect already has a second AV weight of 2 which doubles that damage. Thus the blade was incorrectly delivering 3x stamina damage. This reverts Bug #10179. (Bug #25291) Cleaned with xEdit 4.0.1 to remove additional ITMs that were not visible previously. The complete changelog is available here.

  13. Unofficial Oblivion DLC Patches By Quarn, Kivan, Arthmoor, PrinceShroob, and SigurĂ° Stormhand The aim of this mod is to fix the bugs existing in the official mods released by Bethesda. NOTE: These fixed plugins use the ESP master (aka mod de-isolation) method which means you still need the original plugins for these plugins to work! The plug-ins are not a redistribution of modified original Bethesda plug-ins, but contain only changes and have the original plug-ins set as masters. Because of this, these are not standard plug-in ESP files. Merging, editing or otherwise modifying them using the Elder Scrolls Construction Set or other utilities may cause them to stop functioning or cause severe bugs in your game! These plugins MUST load after the DLC's that they patch; reversing this load order, or activating the UODP ESP's without the official DLC's that they patch present, can cause Oblivion to crash on launch or load of a save. (The self-installing version will set the appropriate dates; use OBMM or equivalent if you use the manual version to adjust the load order.) The UODP is currently not compatible with the JOG's Official Plugins Unnerfed mod because it modifies the original Bethesda plug-in ESP files. If you use the UODP overtop of Unnerfed, Oblivion may crash on launch. The UODP is compatible with S.M. Plug-In Refurbish (move the S.M. ESP's after the UODP ones with OBMM or equivalent.) If you use the Horse Armor Pack patch with Slof's Armored Horses, the Slof's horses' reins may disappear. Use dev_akm's compatibility patch instead. It is recommended to not activate the Thieves Den' SSSB (Sigil Stone Sound Bug) fix plug-in "DLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch - SSSB.esp" on an existing game, but rather only on a new game, as otherwise the middle deck of the Black Flag could lose its doors (as their position is stored in the save file) and/or any objects already dropped in this cell could be lost. If you find any bugs with the fixes or any bugs with the official mods themselves please report them to either of us. Downloads AFK Mods Nexus Mods TES Alliance Twenty-Fifth Release (2021-Nov-02) Mehrunes' Razor bugs fixed (v1.0.8): This mesh was identified by Pherim as containing TriStrips with composed of multiple strip lengths, this was causing the Oblivion game engine to make multiple draw calls for each strip segment rather one for each TriStrip which was impacting performance. Pherim corrected this by converting the meshes in each nif to TriShapes, which resolved the problem. In the course of integrating his work into the patch the opportunity has been taken to rationalize the structure of some nifs, this may also improve performance. 15. Ok, so for those of you who were wondering, yes, we're planning to go ahead with doing an Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch. It may be a bit early for this, all depends on how aggressively Bethesda begins patching the game, but we figure it's best to get off the ground sooner rather than later so that we know more or less what to expect once the official tools are released. We will not begin any kind of proper work on the first release of the UFO4P until after the official CK/GECK is available. In addition, we probably won't be taking on any mesh or texture fixes until community tools have progressed far enough to handle these properly. Many of them are already making good progress, but they need to be in solid working order before anyone with 3D and/or texturing skills can really do effective fix work. There is little point in trying to fix much of anything until then. For now, just play, and enjoy the game like we are. There's no rush. Post any bug reports you have in our collection thread. This was basically to let folks know that we're on board for this. If you run into a quest bug, script bug, etc, please also report those here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1544248-bug-report-index-pc/- Bethesda can't attempt to fix what we don't report, and it's best for everyone if they do. The less we need to deal with when the time comes, the better.
  16. Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch [uSLEEP] As many of you may remember, last year around this time we conducted a poll on whether or not it was the right time to consider unifying the unofficial patches into a single package. At the time, about 25% of those who responded to the poll were still in a position where they did not have all 3 DLCs for the game. So we decided against merging everything at that time. Fast forward to today, it's become quite clear that that 25% is far less than it was, and more and more people have been asking when we're going to be doing this. This post is your answer. Shortly after the release of USKP 2.1.3, we will begin the process of unification to merge the vanilla USKP plus all of the DLC patches into one all encompassing mod, which will be known as "Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch", or USLEEP for short. A mouthful, but a catchy acronym. We have decided that the best course of action will be to rename the esp to match the mod's updated name. It will remain an ESP file flagged as an ESM as that makes the process of working on it less of a hassle for us and as has been proven, the game, CK, and existing mod management tools are completely fine with it. We have also verified that switching the ESP name will not cause any scripts modified by the project, or added new to the project, to throw Papyrus errors. The only side effect will be that the retroactive update scripts will all run again. That shouldn't cause any problems though and we'll make sure any scripts manipulating formlists are safeguarded against generating duplicate references in them. The hi-res DLC patch will remain a separate entity as many people do not use it for one reason or another and it's not considered part of the "Legendary Edition" of the game either. We estimate the time needed to do the work of merging everything together and then putting it through testing will take a few months. So we are not anticipating another release for the project between now and November while this work is done. Time commitments to other things are the main reason for this, so we figure giving ourselves enough time for that is prudent. Plus this also gives enough warning ahead of time that we're going forward with this. As many existing issues as we could resolve for the 2.1.3 release cycle have now been cleared from the tracker and any issues remaining that are not feasible to fix have been closed appropriately. Any new issues submitted after this point will need to wait until the unification process is complete before we will even begin to consider touching them. Please, DO report them, just don't expect action for awhile. If it should become necessary (God forbid) for a hotfix to be released before the unification is done, then that will be the ONLY issue that will be addressed and will be handled only in whatever patch it may affect. After the unification process is done, the existing separated patches will no longer receive updates. The files will remain up in their existing entries but will be frozen and the comment threads closed where possible. All future support will be handled on a single file entry for the unified project on each site it is hosted on. Mods which rely on using the USKP/UDGP/UHFP/UDBP are strongly urged to make plans to switch over to the new master file when it's ready. Other mods which import fixes from the unofficial patches are also strongly urged to make sure they are up to date before November. It would also be best if any translated versions of the patches out there get synced up with 2.1.3 so that as many people as possible will have access to them while the unification is underway. We will have a testing release at some point before the unified patch is ready to go live. The usual cautions against using beta copies on saves you intend to keep will apply. That step is going to last no less than a full month so that there's time enough to shake out any bugs that result from the process. ======================== Some of you may also be wondering what this means for my own projects that make use of the unofficial patches as masters. These will all be converted as needed to run using the unified patch file. Post-unification, I will not release mods that rely on the individual patch files. So things like Bring Out Your Dead, Cutting Room Floor, Ars Metallica, and other stuff, will all get taken care of on whatever schedule fits best as the process moves along. In the case of Cutting Room Floor, this will also open the door to adding cut DLC content that's been getting logged to the tracker. So it'll be worth it Once I make these transitions, any old copies relying on the old patch files will be frozen.

  19. Now that this kalpa for the USKP is complete (for you non-lorehound types, kalpa = cycle) it's probably time we make public our plans for the next one. Due to an increasing number of odd engine related bugs it's been decided among the team that we will need to convert the USKP (and therefore all the DLC patches too) into what's called a "False ESM". That is, and ESP file which is flagged as an ESM by way of changing the flag in TES5Edit. So why would we want this? There are a few classes of bugs this has already been shown to help with in internal testing: Seemingly random crashes in and around major cities, and other areas where a lot of data is edited. Especially navmeshes. The "landscape foliage" bug in which a child worldspace begins displaying landscape foliage from its parent worldspace because an object in the parent worldspace was edited. This is readily apparent in Darkwater Pass. The "LOD trees show up at close range" bug. This is where you will sometimes see trees that are clearly intended to be displayed as LOD sitting within the currently loaded cells, sometimes even merged into the real trees. As described here. There may be others, but these 3 classes of bugs are confirmed to be correctable by converting to a false ESM. So you might be asking then. Why not a proper ESM file? Two reasons mainly: 1. Steam cannot support ESM files, we'd have to cease distribution there all together and not just for the USKP. 2. Other mods are relying on the filenames being ESP files and not all of those mods are currently being maintained anymore. It's already been verified that Wrye Bash is OK with changing the flag. It will not complain when the files get bumped up into the ESM section. With proper CRC checks, BOSS won't complain either. Though I'm hoping some other method can be used to detect it ongoing because having a growing mountain of CRC checks won't be helpful. Perhaps version number parsing from the description field. I cannot vouch for how NMM will react since I don't use it, and I'm not sure anyone else on the team has tried it either. Who knows what Mod Organizer will think. We will bump all the version numbers on all the patches up to 2.0 when this happens. We don't have a time frame yet, because there's also a giant mountain of vanilla bugs piled up in the tracker to address too. But when it happens, all of the patches will be updated at the same time. Our proposed changes in the load order for the game will look like this: Skyrim.esm Update.esm Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Dawnguard.esm Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Hearthfires.esm Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Dragonborn.esm Unofficial Dragonborn.esp [The rest of your stuff] The main reason for this should be obvious. It will generate much less interference with things following on in the ESM group, and at the same time allow us to undo some of the changes in each DLC patch that are only there because the USKP canceled them out due to its own edits. Best of all, thus far in testing, it poses no risk for converting them in the middle of an active playthrough, even with a lot of other mods loaded. So anyway, that's where we're headed now. We've already kind of leaked hints at it, so now it can be considered confirmed rather than rumor The ESM Conversion Checklist Wrye Bash Support - Supported as of release 304.2. NMM Support - Works as expected, NMM flags the files with a warning but allows them to move into the ESM group. Mod Organizer Support - v1.0.0rc1 and up has been confirmed to work. TES5Edit Support - Supported as of release 3.0.31. BOSS Support - Working in 2.1.1. (was some confusion here, but it *IS* working) Checklist items need to be completed before we move forward on this. BETA Scheduling We're planning to go into beta on all 4 patches Saturday (October 5). I expect we'll have a minimum of 2 weeks testing, perhaps longer, to see how all this affects things and to validate that none of the new fixes coming in with this are broken. With that in mind, I figured this is as good a time as any to say so. Once this round of beta testing is complete, the USKP will no longer be distributed on Steam. Leaving the 1.3.2c version up there is already causing us problems and we can't in good conscience leave it up there after 2.0 has gone live. So anyone still using Steam to get the USKP needs to transition to one of the other available download sites. We're also going to have to check to see if Steam will accept a falsely flagged ESP file and deliver it back to the user intact as such. I mention this now because if it doesn't, then ALL of the unofficial patches will have to be taken down from Steam and everyone using those too will need to make provisions to change to another download site. So keep that in mind for those of you using Steam.
