  1. Actually, Black Swan created this. He was a shooter, and hated the "Hold Your Breath" mechanic. Your heartbeat has a larger impact than your breathing.
  2. Welllll ... I originally created the Miners Advantage, which doubled the ore obtained. Black Swan quadrupled the results, changed the name and moved it's location.
  3. This is one the mods Poorly Aged made. Any weapons mods in the bunch are grandad's. He and Black Swan were both weapons guys, but grandad did the mods. Not to diminish Black Swan's contribution. He was the one with the brilliant idea to put the shotgun in a sunken boat. I laughed when he told me the idea. "Shotguns, drunks, and boats don't work well together", was his reasoning.
  4. Too bad I can only give one reaction. I'd add a big laugh. This mod started as part of my Goodneighbor player home, and that is where you took the image. I see what you did there.
  5. Truth be told, this is the work of three people. Grandad (Poorly Aged) did the original weapons caches. I combined it with the player home I had in Goodneighbor. Them Black Swan added water breathing and did the scripting necessary to make the Old World Blues pieces. Synergy at work.
  6. Originally, this was my mod, and the problem was discovered while I was working on the sanctuary mod. Tarshana fixed the mesh for me, and I must give her a "Thank you" for helping me. Black Swan changed the packaging to the ESM, which I like better.
  7. Hey Arthmoor;

I come back here after an absence to find the whole tone and timber of AFK mods has changed.

In recent months, it appears that the "Bethesda.net Refugees" have formed a mutual stroking cliche which does a really good job of inflating each others "reputation" and egos.  Is this the new direction you taking AFK Mods?

Now, this is gonna piss off more than a few.  But that's okay.  If this is indeed the new direction you are taking AFK Mods, then I shouldn't be here.  After all, I remember an inclusive site, and based on what I read from the last few months. it appears that inclusion has become a thing of the past.  From what I have read, AFK mods is rapidly becoming just another Bethesda.net, with all its failings, and none of it's benefits.

So, my return visit must be a short one.  I cannot and will not be part of a culture which promotes "in" and "out" groups.

      Legal immigrant here..Lol

I think he is confusing “Inclusive” which means all comers…with “Exclusive” which he seems to prefer, which means a closed door club of chosen members (such as Chorrol)…or at least those of a limited predilection hmmm?

“Mutual stroking cliche” He probably means ‘clique’…but hey, ‘Mutual stroking sounds good to me’ Lol.  As for inflating each others Reputation and Ego’s….Well, we call that being nice to each other, which I thoroughly recommend to those who do not practice the art.

We few Refugees are naturally extremely grateful to Art and the AFK team for generously extending the hand as the Beth ship was scuttled.  A new home for a community is none to easy to come by and we try to settle in without too much disruption, but we are admittedly a garrulous, friendly bunch and our enthusiasm for gaming aspects outside of modding technicalities is bound to not appeal to some…

I may only be 29 years old and not really as worldly as some, but I have never seen anyone work so hard to justify their behavior unless they were fully aware that it was illegal, unethical or immoral.

What a strange, in fact weird comment!

      Who is being referred to?

What hard work is being done to justify some behaviour?

and what of any such behaviour is illegal, unethical or immoral?

I am fascinated now….hope this drags on a bit.

  8. I have seen this process before, so here are a few things that might make reproducing a bug easier. sometimes the names of the ESP are rather esoteric and hard to match to a mod description, so include links to the mods in you Load Order to save the search time and research time needed to find them. ensure that all of the mods in your Load Order are current. It is difficult to do diagnostics when you have an outdated version of a mod and the old version is no longer available ensure that the mods in your Load Order are still supported. Unsupported mods generally are a great source of errors and cannot be obtained to reproduce a bug Hope this is helpful.
  9. And the magic eight ball says ... "It depends". "On what", you ask? Variables. New fans, existing fans and Bethesda's attitude towards those fans. Game mechanics, graphics and story. Modding or not. You alone get to decide whether Fallout will survive in your realm.
  10. UTC is like the 24 hour clock, a bastard stepchild that some folks equate to the worlds Military Services.
  11. Thanks Arthmoor. Back to my original question. Is there a road map of sorts for cleaning FNV/FO3 as there is for Skyrim?
  12. How much exposure is there in simply removing ITM's?
  13. I have noticed several Identical To Master (ITM) records in Fallout New Vegas' DLC, the 10mm Pistol being one of the obvious ones. I was looking for direction on cleaning these masters and didn't find one here. Is there one and I am just too green to find it? Or am I traveling a new path?
  14. Well, thanks for the info. Guess I am going to learn more than I expected. Such is life. Thanks again.
  15. I am starting this thread; not because I know something and wish to share, but because I am completely ignorant and was looking for help. TES V: Skyrim Special Edition has a topic on porting mods from Classic to SE. I was hoping to find help and knowledge going the other way. But alas, there is no topic for reposing knowledge for porting mods from SE to Classic. Short of recreating a mod from Scratch, any advice, hints, help or other intelligence (like where lie the pit traps) would be greatly appreciated.
