  1. Unique Landscapes: Colovian Highlands

At the beginning of the first era, the kingdom of Colovia was conquered by Empress Alessia. The tradings between the empires prospered and in the Colovian Highlands a well defensible trading post was built. Many trade goods were brought towards Chorrol, from where they were transported by horse even further. But because of the extension of the trading route via the port of Anvil and the border expansion in the year 1E 1029, the colovian trading post continuously decreased in importance and eventually almost got forgotten.
More than one thousand years later, a group of smugglers discovered the expanded natural rock caves and started to use them as a resting place and hideout. When the Thrassian Plague broke out and more than the half of Tamriel's inhabitants were killed, the smugglers also had to deal with their casualties.
The few survivors secured their loot with numerous traps and left for searching a cure. They knew, when they would be back, they would be able to identify the traps' positions by certain noises to deactivate them.
Well, they didn't return and the traps are still activated. It's not known if exploring the caves will be worth it. Until today, all survivors told of of horrible fluttering animals and terrible traps and not one of them was willing to return to the caves and again risk his life.

  2. Unique Landscapes: Cloudtop Mountains

This mod changes the mountainous area north-west of Chorrol. The lower mountainside is covered by dense and dark conifer wood and lots of rocks, with small paths running through the area. Halfway to the top, plateaus with grass and flowers separate the woody lower half from the rocky upper part of the mod, where more and bigger rocks change the landscape to a cliffy and inhospitable place. Lots of small paths form a labyrinthine network there, and at the top as well as on the plateaus, ruins of old fortifications show that you are near the border to Hammerfell.
Unique Landscapes (short: UL) is based on the vision of a diversified and beautiful Cyrodiil. Imagine a world where exploring not only means to find new enemies and treasures but to enjoy gorgeous landscapes, a world where every step could lead to a new and unique visual experience. That is the Cyrodiil UL is working on.
To achieve a goal that huge, the UL project consists of multiple single mods. Each mod modifies a part of Cyrodiil, following a single theme. Usually UL mods get developed completely independently from each other. This way each modder has a maximum of freedom to work on his or her vision, so every UL mod gets its own style and contributes to the diversification of Cyrodiil.

  5. Unique Landscapes: Cheydinhal Falls

Cheydinhal Falls overhauls the surrounding of Cheydinhal. It prolongs the Reed River to the city and continues it to a peaceful lake at the bottom of the mountains that is surrounded by dense forest. From this source, the water quietly flows through the wilderness and then, after the city, changes to a wild creek that splashes through steep gorges and over waterfalls until it becomes the again slowly flowing Reed River.

  6. Unique Landscapes: Brena River Ravine

Brena River Ravine stretches from BoC:Lost Coast to the headwaters of both forks of the Brena River. At the river's fork, the area is divided by a system of ancient Ayleid dams which serve to create 3 distinct regions in the area.
The north fork of the river stretches back into a thick forest lined with many rocks, trees, and old Ayleid fortifications. One dam here creates a reservoir of deep water. A group of bandits has made the area its home and headquarters of their operations.
The east fork is marked by a pair of large and ancient Ayleid dams, the purpose of which has been lost to the ages. The twin dams stand as a testament to the engineering skills of the Ayleids. The waters here are very deep and the ravine is lined by massive cliffs. A giant waterfall marks the headwaters of the east fork, rising thousands of feet up the wall to a small lake in the Colovian Highlands.
Below the dams the Brena River's waters are shallow. It lazily winds through the Colovian Highlands on its way to the Abecean Sea. Here, amongst the greenery lie the humble old remains of a once great Ayleid city, interspersed with clusters of rocks and flowers.

  7. Unique Landscapes: Bravil Barrowfields

Bravil Barrowfields improves the area around Bravil and the Larsius River. It creates a wide grassland with small hills, intermixed by small groups of trees and speckled with bushes. Though nature is gorgeous in this region, signs of decay can be seen wherever civilization left its mark: Ruinous buildings and crumbled walls testify to the poverty of County Bravil's inhabitants. In the hinterland, ancient graves can be found which give this mod its name and its atmosphere an enchanted touch.
This mod is based less on spectacular views than on a lot of carefully placed details which can be found everywhere in Bravil Barrowfield's area, so it's worth to explore it thoroughly.

  8. Unique Landscapes: Arrius Creek

Ice cold springs rise in the Mountains and unite to a creek that feed Lake Arrius north of Cheydinhal and continues its way to the southeast. In the eastern part, the landscape is sparse and rocky while the tree density increases when going westwards, repeatedly interrupted by big groups of rocks. Unrestrained by its stony stream bed, the water rushes downwards in the steep, sharp gorge it milled out during eons. Roaring waterfalls form an impressive scenery in the otherwise sparse landscape.
At some places, humanoid traces are highly visible: Chopped trees lead to a charburner's camp and bridges offer a safe way to pass the stream. Some resourceful craftsmen learned to utilise the power of the streaming water: In a water driven hammer mill, supplied with ore from the nearby mine, tools get manufactured, and a grinding mill, powered by the water, produces granite plates.
Lake Arrius is a deep and cold mountain sea, whose shore line is mostly formed by overhanging rocks. Its depth takes most of the power of the rushing water masses. From the lake, the water finds its way to the lower regions of inner Cyrodiil in a more calm, but not less impressive way.

  9. Unique Landscapes: Blackwood Forest

This mod overhauls the southern half of the Blackwood, east and southeast of Leyawiin. It changes the area to a dense wood on moist ground, in consistence to the closeness of the swamps in the north. Small creeks meander between the trees, leading to the south below the canopy of leaves, until they unite to a small stream that flows into the sea.

  10. Unique Landscapes: Beaches of Cyrodiil - Lost Coast

Unique Landscapes Beaches of Cyrodiil: the Lost Coast is the first in a series of UL mods designed to be a total conversion of the beaches of beloved Cyrodiil. The Lost Coast overhauls the entire area north of Anvil, and divides it into three regions: The Anvil Cliffsides, The Lost Coast, and Oyster Bay. The Anvil Cliffsides are large, stout cliffs that reach from Anvil to Crowhaven. It features a large, tall rock, known as beacon rock, along with a very extensive history of the rock. The Lost Coast is a stretch of long, wide beaches, littered with driftwood and occasional rocks. Even though they are wide open, they portray a sense of solitude and seclusion, hence the name. Oyster bay is an old oyster farming town, long since ruined. Of course, there is a good piece of history to go along with it, but it is featured in the mod as a series of books and journals.

  13. Unofficial Oblivion DLC Patches

The aim of this mod is to fix the bugs existing in the official mods released by Bethesda.

NOTE: These fixed plugins use the ESP master (aka mod de-isolation) method which means you still need the original plugins for these plugins to work! The plug-ins are not a redistribution of modified original Bethesda plug-ins, but contain only changes and have the original plug-ins set as masters. Because of this, these are not standard plug-in ESP files. Merging, editing or otherwise modifying them using the Elder Scrolls Construction Set or other utilities may cause them to stop functioning or cause severe bugs in your game! These plugins MUST load after the DLC's that they patch; reversing this load order, or activating the UODP ESP's without the official DLC's that they patch present, can cause Oblivion to crash on launch or load of a save.

The UODP is currently not compatible with the JOG's Official Plugins Unnerfed mod because it modifies the original Bethesda plug-in ESP files. If you use the UODP overtop of Unnerfed, Oblivion may crash on launch. The UODP is compatible with S.M. Plug-In Refurbish (move the S.M. ESP's after the UODP ones)

If you find any bugs with the fixes or any bugs with the official mods themselves please report them in the Official forum thread.

  14. TIE - Tamriel Immersion Experience

An overhaul catering to roleplayers. Now also including the Shivering Isles!
Get ready for a jolt to the system. Although only vanilla (default) resources were used, T.I.E. is a tiny overhaul that carries major impact on the way Oblivion is played. The gameplay is much tougher on hack and slash players while favoring stealth gamers in general - although with the release of 1.26 onwards, both Mages and Fighters can survive well in TIE too. How does TIE favor stealth gameplay? By having NPCs and creatures deal out far more damage, by raising sneak attack perks, and having real consequences for engaging in melee combat unprepared (for starters). High level loot and armor and weapons are also much rarer, far more TNRish NPCs now populate Cyrodiil (800 in this release), diseases are easier to catch, etc. You will also find most mid to high level shops (as well as many Imperial city homes) guarded by hired guards, so no more thieving to your heart's content and filling your loot bag. Now you have to actually WORK to be a good thief. You'll also come across secret entrances to all cities and castles. Some are underground, some require swimming, climbing, or jumping - or a combination of all three. You will see thieves making grabs for loot (and getting chased), deadly assassins, tomb raiders and morally ambiguous scavengers in wilderness areas as well as underneath the Imperial City sewer system - which is now interconnected via trapdoors, and grates.
So have fun in the new Tamriel, but beware. More danger than you can conceive of lurks both on the surface and below. Only the prudent and vigilant will survive and thrive. Garrett would be proud.
    * TIE no longer caters exclusively to the stealth type gamer. Previous versions of TIE used to be tailor made for Thief types (RIP Looking Glass Studios), but Mages can now enjoy a greater thief-like environment blended in with the arcane. Fighters will also find their path in TIE - especially with the prolific use of shields and certain potions available from merchants and bartenders.
    * TIE features ONLY vanilla content. That means no resources found outside the Construction Set made their way into here. Custom scripts are fine as long as they're small, but visually speaking, everything you see and witness inside TIE comes directly from the game. This of course has a direct effect on the download size. As it currently stands, with more than 800 added TNR NPCs, and with a file size of just 5 megabytes, T.I.E. is a far smaller download than most other overhauls out there (with the exception of Adventurers).
    IMPORTANT:
If you are using Better Cities 5.4.1 or higher, download "TIE For BC 541.7z". Version 5.4 and up of BC include the Blood & Mud mod and has a new wall configuration in Bruma as well.
If you are sticking with a version of Better Cities which DOES NOT incorporate the Blood & Mud mod, download the file simply called "TIE.7z" instead.

  15. All Natural - Weather for Nehrim

All Natural requires Wrye Bash v292 and OBSE 0019b or greater!

    All Natural: Nehrim

All Natural Nehrim combines a robust custom weather system that allows the use of weather types from all existing weather mods with a custom version of Natural Interiors in order to provide the greatest weather/environment experience possible. The segments of All Natural Nehrim will be explained below:
    1. Custom Weather System
The cornerstone of All Natural Nehrim is unique weather system that includes a new regional weather script to keep the weather synced on interior/exterior switching and when fast traveling and a variety of optional features to help enhance and customize the user's weather experience. All Natural Nehrim also allows you to choose from only vanilla weathers or from some or all the weather types from Natural Weather, Atmospheric Weather System, and Enhanced Weather.
    2. Natural Interiors
Natural Interiors was originally created by Wormheart, and its purpose was to make it so interior locations such as houses and guilds would be affected by the weather outside and time of day, and to make it so interior locations had weather sounds inside very similarly to the original “Weather Inside” mod. To accomplish this, interior windows were made transparent and the sky outside now matched the exterior weather and time of day. The result is you can look out an interior window and see a sunset, stars, etc and also have the interior lighting level change based on it being sunny, cloudy, nighttime, etc, plus you can hear rain/storm sounds from within. Sadly, Natural Interiors was never finished and had some issues. However, All Natural Nehrim now includes an improved and expanded version that cannot be found outside of All Natural. Also, the Natural Interiors segment of All Natural Nehrim cannot be separated, so you must use All Natural Nehrim in full to benefit from the Natural Interiors segment.
