Scythe Bearer got a reaction from indikim for a file, Werewolf Heart and Potion of Well Being
Tired of having to buy your Potions of Well Being from a single vendor way out in Raven Rock. No longer. With this mod, you can now craft your own. This mod adds Werewolf Hearts to the game to provide the necessary combination of effects to allow one to craft a Potion of Well Being.
I will assume you are familiar with how crafting works. A Potion of Well Being has three effects. Restore Magicka, Restore Health and Restore Stamina. To make this potion you need two ingredients with all these effects, or three ingredients with the proper combination of effects. There are ingredients with Restore Magicka and Restore Stamina, and Restore Health and Restore Stamina. What is missing is an ingredient with Restore Health and Restore Magicka to complete the trifecta. Thus, Werewolf Hearts.
Finding Werewolf hearts is simple. They exists in Werewolves. They also exist in the possession of Werewolf Hunters. Alchemist Vendors will sell them.
How to make the potion? Well, you already know one ingredient. Use your Alchemy Skill to discover the other two. Or, you can occasionally find an Alchemist Vendor with the recipe for sale.
Like all crafted potions, the effectiveness of the potion will increase with the strength of your Alchemy Skill, and the added strength of the enchantments on your gloves and rings and necklaces.
Now, there is a caveat. Because of the way the Alchemy interface works, you will never create a "Potion of Well Being". Your potion will be named "Potion of" one of the effects in the Potion of Well Being. So use caution when selling your excess potions or stashing your potions in storage. You will need to look at the effects and not the name.

Scythe Bearer got a reaction from aelfwyn for a file, Stone Crusher - Nordic Pickaxe
Tired of hacking at ore veins for precious little return? Meet the Stone Crusher. This Nordic Pick Axe quadruples the yield when mining ore.
This mod was originally created by Unshod Cobbler as the Miners Advantage and later modified by Black Swan. I have been given permission to maintain and update this mod as necessary.
The Stone Crusher is located in a small undercut above Etched Tablet VI on your way up to High Hrothgar, Look under the long dead miner.

Scythe Bearer got a reaction from UnshodCobbler for a file, Weapon And Armor Repair at Weapon Creation Workbenches
Fed up with hunting for Weapons and Armor to use to repair your favorite and heavily used weapons and armor.  Here is a modified Weapon Creation Workbench which has the option to invoke the Repair Menu, using the players skill as input.  Now, you can pay yourself to repair your gear and not have to worry about finding elusive items.  This also works on the Weapon Create Workbenches on Mothership Zeta.
I am duly chastised.  This mod requires all the Fallout 3  DLC, or the GOTY version of the game.

Scythe Bearer got a reaction from UnshodCobbler for a file, .50 BMG Sniper Rifle
Tired of watching .308 caliber rounds bouncing off of the OP enemies introduced by the Various DLC (Super Mutant Overlords, Feral Ghoul Reavers and Albino Radscorpians).  Here is a  better sniper rifle.  This weapon has longer range, higher accuracy, and a better scope.  It will knock down almost any opponent, and will one-shot kill most opponents with a head-shot from stealth.
.50 Caliber rounds are placed around the Capital Wasteland, and in the various DLC areas.  And the ultimate piece, the Ammo Press in The Pit has been modified to accept and make .50 Caliber rounds.
The weapon is located in the National Guard Depot (see snapshot), in the same room as the Small Guns Bobblehead.
This mod  will require all the DLC content for Fallout 3, or the GOTY version of Fallout 3.

Scythe Bearer got a reaction from UnshodCobbler for a file, Self Paying Repair Anvil
Tired of hunting for those rare AM Rifles to repair the one you spent all that money tricking out?  Or any weapon needed to repair your favorite sidearm.  Well, hunt no more.  Scattered about the Fallout New Vegas Universe, from The Sierra Madre to Zion to the Big Empty to Hopeville are self paying repair anvils.  Using your Repair Skill, you can now repair any weapon or armor item simply by paying yourself for the work.

The Repair Anvil will launch the Repair Menu, where the player can pay themselves the price of a repair, basically making the repairs free.  Just make sure you have the caps on hand to make the repairs.

Scythe Bearer got a reaction from UnshodCobbler for a file, Old Marine Caches
A Marine Veteran from Operation Anchorage has decided that waiting for Armageddon is foolish.  So he prepares a series of cashes which should get him and his family safely from Goodsprings to Southern Utah.  Alas, Murphy was an optimist.
After successfully breaking into the Old Marine's house in Goodsprings, a note on the dining room table will set you on a trail across the Mojave to collect the caches.  Each cache will contain enhanced and specialized weapons and armor and a note directing you to the next cache.  Think of this as a treasure hunt, and not a quest.  The directions to each cache were written to his wife, who is familiar with the area and terrain, so the clues are sometimes cryptic.
The upside, some of these weapons and armor will make it through the "security screen" for the Sierra Madre and will ease your visit to that death trap.
This mod requires ALL Fallout New Vegas DLC, or the GOTY version of the game.

Mod Users.  Do not use this mod unless directed to by a mod author in conjunction with their mod.  Using it otherwise will simply take up a bit of storage and a slot in your load order unnecessarily.  When building your load order, make this the last Master file, or just before the Unofficial Patch.

Scythe Bearer got a reaction from UnshodCobbler for a file, Dragonborn Sanctuary
Hidden beneath The Throat of The World Is a long forgotten sanctuary, build for the Dragonborn.
Find the key in Sky Haven Temple, and journey to The Cut Across the Throat to enter the sanctuary.  There you will find a complete smithy, apothecary, kitchen, and crafting center;  a library capable of holding every book in Skyrim; ancient Dragon Slayer armor and weapons; and clothing enchanted to make smithing and alchemy more effective.  Plenty of store safe chests, manikins, and weapon racks.
Enjoy the courtyard with it's Shrine to Talos.
In short, a home away from the stress of dealing with the drama of Skyrim.
