  1. Thank you Sclerocephalus, and my apologies. I should have updated this around the holidays last year, but I had forgotten I posted this question. I figured it out when I was working on a mod for SSE which added a landing marker and had the insight to answer my own question. Serendipity strikes again.
  2. This mod adds a version of Pa's Fishing Aid, a double barrel shotgun which was left on the cutting room floor when the Point Lookout DLC was released.

    Pa's Fishing Aid is a shotgun which was left on the cutting room floor when the Point Lookout DLC was published and was never quite finished . This simple mod that adds a version of Pa's Fishing Aid to the game. This instance of the weapon has had the following done to make it complete: It was changed to use Double Barrel shot guns for repair, instead of the combat shot gun. It was changed to discharge each barrel separately instead of firing both barrels at once. It was changed to use less VATS. It was changed to add the "Victory Rifle Knock Down" effect on critical hits. The weapon is in a sunken (yes, under water) boat. If one fast travels to the Flooded Sink Hole, goes to the end of the pier and looks Southwest you will see another pier. The sunken boat is beside that pier, below the conveniently supplied shot gun shells. This mod should be fine if installed with NMM. This mod will conflict with any other mod which updates the cell Sinkhole. This mod requires the Point Lookout DLC. I know this is obvious, but alas ...   4. This is a simple mod which allows the player to invoke the Weapon repair interface using their skill and paying themselves for the work. Yes, this mod is one helluva cheat. I made it because I got tired of paying vendors with less skill than the player for repairs because i couldn't find a compatible weapon.

    If your are tired of paying for weapon repairs from vendors with less skill, or of hunting for weapons for spare parts, then here is your rescue. This mod adds the repair menu to the Workbenches, including the ones on the ship in Mothership Zeta. It invokes ShowRepairMenu using the players skill. Just make sure you have the caps to pay yourself. Truth in advertising dictates that I tell you that this mod is one helluva cheat. This mod requires the Mothership Zeta DLC or the GOTY version of the game. This mod has been cleaned and contains no ITM or deleted records.   6. A simple mod to add a sniper rifle which has been rechambered for the .50 BMG round.

    This mod adds a Sniper Rifle which has been re-chambered for the .50 BMG round and the necessary ammunition. Several leveled lists where updated to get .50 caliber rounds into the hands of the shooters. Vendors will sell the ammunition and random Ammo Cans will also have .50 caliber ammunition. Scattered about throughout the game are another couple dozen ammo cans with .50 caliber ammunition. I updated the Ammunition Press in The PITT to both accept and produce .50 Caliber rounds. For fun, I also added about the game another couple dozen boxes with Alien Epoxy. Before any one complains that this weapon is "over powered", it is appropriately scaled up from the stats of the current Victory Rifle. The range, hitting power and scope magnification have all been increased. And as with the Victory Rifle, this rifle will knock a target down on a critical hit. It is; after all, a .50 caliber rifle. It is supposed to be 2.5 times the power of a .308. The rifle is in a Gun Locker (Very Hard Lock) in the National Guard Depot. Look in the same room with the Small Guns Bobblehead. This MOD REQUIRES all of the DLC or the GOTY edition of Fallout 3. I wish to express my gratitude to Pelinor for the mod More Scope Reticles and the kind permission to use one of the reticules for my new rifle. =============== Use: =============== Use this pack in one of two ways: 1. Copy and rename one of these files to Scope01.nif to replace all default crosshairs. 2. Use the files as a resource for weapon scopes in GECK. Do not rename the files, and credit me if you release a mod using any of them. This mod will install simply with NMM. Use it. I have cleaned this mod.   10. Let's see if i understand. Base game ESM is in slot 00. ESL files are slot FE. The savegame is slot FF. That's three (00, FE and FF) of the 256 slots taken up, leaving 253 slots for everything else (additional Mod ESP files and DSL ESM files). So I guess I do not understand how there are 254 slots for mods.

  12. Have you shared this with the SKSE folks (email: team@skse.silverlock.org)? I ask, because I believe they are the ones who maintain the SKSE section of the CK WIKI, and need to know if it needs updating. You may have also discovered a bug, and if such is the case, the folks who support SKSE still need to know.
  13. The truly simple solution is for people to respect the rights of the content creators. Unfortunately, all the legal jargon in the world will not fix people whose moral compass points towards theft of intellectual property.

From this chair, you were deliberately confrontory and abrasive in an effort to intimidate and marginalize others. You say not, but the old basketball player sees otherwise.   15. Any derogatory, belittling, dismissive or demeaning comment directed at an individual or made about an individual is a personal. When done aggressively, it is an attack. "(although I wouldn't agree with the manner in which crest seems to be pursuing it)" is a spurious and directed comment which is meant to demean someone else. "Just because I am not an established member here it does not mean that my opinion is invalidated. I know you didn't say this, but you seem to be inviting that consensus." (underscores are mine) Is meant to belittle me and dismiss my question. And now you try to negate or mitigate those comments with "I acknowledged here that it would be wrong for me to attribute to you an opinion that is not your own ("I know you didn't say this"),". You're correct, it was wrong. And this quoted comment is a blatant attempt to twist your attacks and shift the blame for your actions to your victims. Now, I will say it again. I questioned your motives. Just I question the motives of anyone who shows up unannounced and uninvited and starts telling me/us how wrong I am/we are and then aggressively endeavors to convert me/us to their way of thinking. Now, my question, why did you choose to take umbrage with my question? Why were you compelled to defend yourself when the question was not addressed to you and was only obliquely related to you as one of three. You CHOOSE to comment on my question and aggressively attempt to marginalize both the question and myself. One last thought. My concern isn't about your opinions or anyone else's. ALL opinions are invalid as opinions are nothing more structured ignorance. Opinions do not measure up to anyone else's knowledge. Opinions do not measure up to someone else's facts. If you are desirous to convert others to your way of thinking, come armed with demonstrable facts and knowledge and not opinions. What's that old saw? "Opinions are like anuses, everybody has one and the vast majority are full shit".
  16. I am an old basketball player. I learned a long time ago that all of the flapping arms and bobbing head and game talk were just so much distraction. I learned to not pay attention to all the noise and distractions. I learned to follow the navel. Now, your mouth says one thing, but alas your navel makes all that just so much noise. You have not addressed issues, you have attacked people; including me and one other directly in the quoted comment. I invited people to question your motives. Your actions have made my question moot.

I had a weird occurrence and am curious if it is unique. I placed a Fast Travel Landing Marker at the Red Rocket Truck Stop right next to the cooking spit, between the spit and the building. Later, I decided I didn't like it there and scrapped the Fast Travel Landing Marker, my expectation being that I would return to the original landing spot. However, I continued to land at the spot in spite of the fact that there was no more Fast Travel Landing Marker. Only after I placed another Fast Travel Landing Marker did I stop landing in the wrong place and land at the new Fast Travel Landing Marker. Is this a known issue, a one off, or a unique problem? 
  20. I got the deluxe version when it was free via the Bethesda.net Launcher. My dumb question is which "unofficial patches" do I need? Is there a single "unofficial patch" with all the patches in one file? Thanks for listening.

However, I continued to land at the spot in spite of the fact that there was no more Fast Travel Landing Marker. Only after I placed another Fast Travel Landing Marker did I stop landing in wrong place and land at the new Fast Travel Landing Marker. Is this a known issue, a one off, or a unique problem?
