  1. Oooo, Ooo... I have just one question in re Post Formatting, then I’ll leave y’all alone until I get Win 10 installed. How do I go about getting the name of the person I'm responding to to appear with the '@' symbol inside a little gray box? In my past responses I've been trying to do to it in various ways to see if I could get it appear that way. I'm assuming the forum uses those little boxes to notify people there's a response or a post addressed to them.
  2. @Arthmoor @Sharlikran @Malonn @Imstearn @Malonn et al Thanks to all for defining BAIN and Wrye Bash, i.e., I went back and read the definitions in the General Readme and I saw that I was holding, in my mind, a not "totally accurate definition" of the parts of Wrye Bash. I started to realize there was an issue with my system recently as well, i.e. desktop just stated an ugly blue instead of using the picture I told it to... well various things. So I am in the process of acquiring Windows 10. It may take a week or two, but after I get installed I will again attempt to get Wrye Bash to working. And after that I am Sure I'll be back. Thanks to all for the multiple responses attempting to help me with my issues with Wrye Bash and the game.
  3. When I say BAIN, this is what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/HBQCm2f I thought this, the Installers tabs et al were referred to by BAIN. I could be mistaken, it has happened once before. BTW, this picture is AFTER I did as suggested and removed All the mod files from my E:\GAMES\STEAM\STEAMAPPS\COMMON\Skyrim Special Edition Mods\Bash Installers folder, I ran Wrye Bash.exe from the command prompt, again, and it came up exactly as pictured in the image above, and BashBugDump.log was empty.
  4. @Sharlikran, @Infernio et al Win 7 Skyrim SE Sorry in re my delay, I had an incredibly hectic week. When I went to the link in your post: “Then as as @Infernio already mentioned you need to download 307.202001111430” for the Non-Win specific version, the Dropbox download page had version Wrye Bash 307.202001181640 - Installer.exe on it. (I don't understand the numbering sequence all y’all use so I don't know if that was correct or if you put a newer version in during my delay). After Following the directions in your post I installed the the v 307.202001181640 as directed using the installer .EXEz version of the file. BAIN installed correctly little window popped up with the "older" mods, I dismissed that, and afterwards BAIN froze. Using the procedure described on https://github.com/wrye-bash/wrye-bash/wiki/[github]-Reporting-a-bug#the-bashbugdumplog, the BashBugDump.log was empty. Just for S&G, I installed BAIN manually and got the same result AND with BashBugDump.log being empty. I also repeated the same process using "Wrye.Bash.307.202001171036..-.Installer.exe", for Windows 7, obtained from github.com, with the same results, BAIN started correctly and BashBugDump.log was empty.
  5. @Malonn Not sure I really understand your comment. I haven't been taking files to ‘mix & match’ (as I understand it). I have Only been using the Wrye Bash & LOOT downloaded mods As-Is, as they come from the downloaded file and unpacked as the mod author instructs.
  6. @Infernio I also ran Wrye Bash 307.202001111430 - Standalone Executable (Downloaded from Discord) on the c:\ prompt, it loaded nominally, then after the little window: Warnings The following warnings were found: Older Plugin Record Version Hide contents FollowerAsCompanion.esp Headtracking.esp LeftHandRings – Dawnguard.esp LeftHandRings – Enchanted.esp LeftHandRings.esp Mjoll the Lioness (Frida v1).esp Mjoll the Lioness (Frida v2).esp No NPC Greetings.esp SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG +DB.esp Z Magic Eye.esp ZfasterMagicSpells.esp came -up and was dismissed BAIN froze. I couldn't highlight a mod, change to the Installers tab, nothing. I Had to close using Task Manager. There were no errors, and bashbugdump.log is empty. If you're looking to see the results for If you're looking to see the results for Wrye.Bash.307.202001101724.-.Standalone.Executable or Wrye.Bash.307.202001101603.-.Standalone.Executable, please see my post above.
  7. Skyrim SE Win 7 – 64 I just ran Wrye.Bash.307.202001101724.-.Standalone.Executable.7z on the c:\ prompt, won't load, no errors, and bashbugdump.log is empty. I also ran Wrye.Bash.307.202001101603.-.Standalone.Executable.7z on the c:\ prompt, it loaded, after the little window: Warnings The following warnings were found: Older Plugin Record Version came -up and was dismissed BAIN froze. I couldn't highlight a mod, change to the Installers tab, nothing. I Had to close using Task Manager. There were no errors, and bashbugdump.log is empty. Am I doing something wrong here? How come the bashbugdump.log is empty when the mod started?
  8. Skyrim SE Win 7 – 64 I looked at LOOT again and saw that since I’ve ran soo many new versions I hadn't (I don't know if it's required/helpful) taken the opportunity to put LOOT into the mopy/apps folder, so I ensured I had most recent LOOT and downloaded – Wrye.Bash.307.202001030030.-.Standalone.Executable.7z again and ran. It didn’t load, didn't throw any error messages and BashBugDump.log was empty. It's Very frustrating, I don't know what to do.
  9. @Infernio I do still have loot.dll. The most recent error messages I posted were obtained WITH that file. v15.1.0 @Malonn
  10. BTW, how does one such as me go about inserting "spoiler" compartments/areas in my comments?
