There are half a dozen mods I employ just for Meat.  One of them is No More Whining, an audio mod that removes all of Meat's whining noises unless he's actually being actively injured by an enemy.  So, instead of my old, "Shut it, Meat!" every time he would whimper or whine I now say, "Don't you dare hurt my dog!"

I'm still using Mighty Nines's Dogmeat Mod, I managed to snag a back up of the files for myself before his stuff was pulled from the Nexus when he was banned. Best Dog meat mod out there it even adds his  male  dangly bits, even though he was based on a female GSD belonging to a staff member he always was shown as male in dialog so he should look the part.

It's supposed to have a limited range.  So, I never bothered to test how far.  They were so cheap to make and was just a vanilla teddy bear model that I dropped them all over... in the barracks, in the clinic, in the dining hall, in the bar, near the guard outposts...  would've shoved one up Preston's bum if it would've fit!  Hahahahahahaha  Get happy dude and quit nagging me about those other settlements.  I'm not finished here yet!  You want another life sentence on permanent guard duty?  I'll have your ghost marching guard duty for the afterlife as well!  Hahaha
