Better, but needs more. I may be picking on chickens because I have some. These hens are too small and have full combs. Why would that matter? First the combs, they are subject to Frostbite in colder climes. Secondly, on the size, these maybe primarily egg layers. The Nords should have developed a dual purpose (meat and eggs) bird. Some examples of what I mean are the Buckeye and Wyandotte breeds. Both are breed for cold winters and are dual purpose. They have reduced combs called "pea" combs that are less susceptible to the icy winters and are more robust (half again in size). Buckeyes also tend to be mousers. so in Skyrim they may be able to take on a skeever. Roosters have sexual feather patterns more than lengthening the tail feathers,  There are saddle feathers and others. 1 in 10 birds should be a rooster.

Yours is a very good improvement, but look up both those breeds, the Buckeyes are a red bird and therefore easier to color. Wyandottes come in various patterns and can be a challenge. The pictures are of a Buckeye hen and rooster.
