Improved Lowerclass Architecture

Description

Provides several mesh fixes for the vanilla lowerclass architecture.

Details

This is yet another page finally being migrated over from the Nexus.  It's a revamp of
a small project I released back in 2015. At the time I was making my first concerted
effort to learn modeling. With a little knowledge under my belt it seemed like a great
idea to attempt fixing all the mesh errors in the lower homes. Looking back, I should
have waited to learn a bit more. Results were ok, but could have been much better.

So here I present version 2.0. A package containing fixes (much better fixes) for all
issues I know of with the lowerclass homes, the tavern, and the Bruma thatch roof
variants of the homes. Including many issues I didn't spot the first time around.

It should be noted these are strictly vanilla bug fixes. No architecture changes other
than what was necessary to plug holes.

What Has Been Fixed??

A fairly sizeable list. See the spoilers for each model and the screenshots above to get
the best point of reference.

HouseLower01:

Spoiler

1. Wood panel below the entry door was removed. It was actually covering the
stone panel which was there. Also placed a piece of wood framing for a door
    threshold.

2. Wood panel under the awning was separated from the framing. It was given a
plank texture to match what is seen on the Bruma variant of this house model.

3. A gap in the wood frame was closed at the front peak of the awning.

4. Slightly down and to the right from #3, a gap between the wood frame and the
    roof was closed.

5. A gap between the front right corner post and the roof was closed.

6. A gap between the rear left corner post and the roof was closed.

7. Behind the popout addition there are two wood frame pieces which were merged
into the stone panel. In the same spot, there is a wood plank panel which was
merged into the wood framing. Corrected both because they extend out past the
    popout and are thus visible.

8. Corrected UV Maps for a wood end piece on the left side of the roof.

9. Adjusted the stone panel height on the cellar extension. It protruded a bit outside
    the wood frame.

10. Removed duplicate faces from all four wood posts on the cellar extension. They
were embedded in the posts just below the wood end caps.

11. Resized two of the wood end caps on the cellar extension because they were not
square and didn't fit the posts they sat on.

12. Separated the cellar door from the house wall panels it was merged into. This is
not a bug fix strictly speaking. But it will make life easier for anyone who wants to
      retexture this house.

HouseLowerInterior01:

Spoiler

1. Closed a gap between the mud ceiling and the upper wall framework. This is near
the roof peak to the right of the chimney.

2. Closed a gap between the lower stone panel and the rear left corner post.

3. Adjusted stone panel in the door area so it isn't sticking out into the doorway.

4. Closed a gap in the wood framing in the overhead awning area. To be honest you
may never have seen this anyway without cheating to get up there. But i saw it
    so had to fix it.

HouseLower02:

Spoiler

1. Wood panel below the entry door was removed. Replaced with a stone panel
and a wood threshold for the door.

2. Closed a small gap between the window shutter and the left window frame.

3. At the corner of the house (right of door) there is a stone panel which was
merged into the wood framing. Above that there is a piece of wood framing
which was merged into the stone panels. Just opposite of what should have
    been the case.

4. On the back of the house there are two wood beams just under the eaves
which were merged into the stone panels.

5. Separated the scrap wood panels on the roof from the four wall panels they
were merged into. This is not a bug fix strictly speaking. But it will make life
easier for anyone who wants to retexture this house.

HouseLower03:

Spoiler

1. Installed a piece of wood in the center of the upper window shutter frame.
Every window shutter frame in all of the lower houses has a center post
except this one. Pretty sure it was meant to be there.

2. The flat board which runs across the top of the porch roof was twisted,
leaving a visible gap and exposed framing.

3. Lower portions of the roof gable framing were clipping through the bottom
    of the porch roof.

4, The lower right roof gable framing (directly right of the upper window) had
some triangles stripped out of the mesh, leaving a visible hole.

5. The wood strip which lies on top of the porch roof had no proper wood end
cap. Sliced it out and applied wood end texture.

6. Corrected UV Map errors for two wood end caps on the back of the roof.

7. Adjusted the stone panel height on the cellar extension. It protruded a bit
    outside the wood frame.

8. Removed duplicate faces from two of the wood posts on the cellar extension.
These were embedded directly below the wood post end caps.

9. Resized two of the wood post end caps on the cellar extension because they
were not square and didn't fit the posts they sat on.

10. Separated the cellar door and the porch foundation from the house walls they
were merged into. This is not a bug fix strictly speaking. It will make life easier
for anyone who wants to retexture this house.

HouseLowerInterior03:

Spoiler

1. Installed a wood frame piece in the upper window shutter frame. It was missing this
piece just as the house exterior was.

2. Closed up a gap between the mud ceiling and wood framing in the popout extension
    area.

LowerClassTavern01:

Spoiler

1. Wood panel below the entry door was removed. Replaced with a stone panel.

2. Closed a gap between the roof gable framing and a wall panel. (Directly right
    from the upper window shutter).

3. Left of the lower window shutters there are two wood frame pieces which don't
connect to the corner post, leaving visible gaps.

4. On the left end of the tavern there is a gap between a wall panel and the center
    wood frame post.

5. Lowered a wood post on the back of the tavern which clipped through the roof
    of the popout extension.

6.  Up above #5 corrected UV Maps for one wood post end cap on the upper roof.

7. Under the eaves on the upper right side, there was no wood framing, while there
was under the upper left side eaves.

8. On the back of the tavern near the chimney there are two pieces of wood framing
missing. One upright in the corner near the chimney, and one under the eaves
near the chimney. Both with visible gaps.

LowerClassTavernInterior01:

Spoiler

1. Corrected UV Map errors on the mud ceiling. Textures were skewed in several
    places.

2. Separated the upper level floor from the wood framework it was merged into.
Allows a proper wood floor texture to be applied. This was done to match what
is seen in the Anvil variant of the lower tavern.

3. Installed 3 small pieces of framing that were missing at the floor level. Making
the "baseboard" if you will contiguous around the room.

4. Separated the inner portion of the fireplace from the staircase wood panels it
was merged into. Fireplaces should be made of stone inside, not wood.

BrumaHouseLower01:

Spoiler

1. Wood panel below the entry door was removed. It was actually covering the
stone panel which was there. Also placed a piece of wood framing for a door
    threshold.

2. Corrected UV Maps for a wood post end cap on the left side of the roof.

BrumaHouseLowerInterior01:

Spoiler

1. Restored the missing piece of wood to the upper portion of the door frame.

2. On the left side of the door frame closed a gap between the stone panel and
    the door frame.

3. Closed two small gaps between lower stone panels and the left rear corner
    wood post.

BrumaHouseLower02:

Spoiler

1. Wood panel below the entry door was removed. Replaced with a stone panel
and a wood threshold for the door.

2. Closed a small gap between the window shutter and the left window frame.

3. The left end door opening didn't have a proper LOD door. It was sealed with
a solid piece of wood merged into the house framework. Cut that out and
installed a proper LOD door as is seen on the standard lower02 house.

4. Corrected UV Maps and textures for several wood end caps on the wood
    strips for the roof.

BrumaHouseLower03:

Spoiler

1. Installed a piece of wood in the center of the upper window shutter frame.
Same situation as the standard lowerclass03 house model.

2. The flat board which runs across the top of the porch roof was twisted,
leaving a visible gap and exposed framing. Same as on the standard
    lowerclass03 house model.

3. Separated the wood end caps (upper roof) from the porch foundation
they were merged into. Corrected UV Maps on several and applied a
proper wood post end texture to them.

BrumaHouselowerInterior03:

Spoiler

1. Installed a wood frame piece in the upper window shutter frame. It was missing this
piece just as the house exterior was.
